Absolutely excellent. every bit the quality of wescott products. and for a fraction of the price. The frame is outstanding, and it comes with black, green, and white silks, the bungie cords could be heavier, but each cloth comes with it's own set, so you get three full sets. I bought some heavier ones at Harbor Freight for 10 bucks that work perfectly. It comes in a nice case, and includes the clamps to attach to standard Cstands with a gobo head. 8x8 doesn't sound like its that big, but its quite large... If this was also available in a 6x6, I'd buy one of those too... Anyway, just love this. I shoot a couple of 1k fresnels into it to soften them up, and outside its excellent to soften up direct sunlight.

It's so good I have even rented it out and people love it. So easy to set up I dont even need to explain it to people its almost common sense. Also its basically a sail so watch out for windy days if used outside.

Overall happy with this! The green and black rags are kinda garbage but if you’re willing to go out an buy a 8x8 negative this is the perfect tool!

Pros: The product and the quality are excellent. Easy to assemble - and the light when shooting through it is soft and flattering for every age. Cons: The product is listed as "kit" and shows C-Stands in the sample photo holding the scrim. Be aware... there are no stands, this "kit" is just the frame and three fabrics (white, black and green) - if you do not already own sturdy stands... plan to spend another $300-$400 to finish your free-standing scrim as seen in the sample image AND once you have purchased those stands, be prepared to find out that the connectors are NOT included either. You will need to purchase adapters to connect the scrim to the stands if you would like for the product to be freestanding as pictured here. My 3 stars are not for the actual scrim but the misleading image and lack of information provided to have a fully functioning tool.
