I was hesitant about buying this product. Many of the reviews were not complimentary. However, after weighing several options, I went with EMARTUS. I am so glad that I did. The green, black, and white muslin backdrops were quite sturdy and durable. I washed them, hung them up on the frame, and the passed a steamer one time. No wrinkles and amazing color key performance. Better than all expectations. I found the frame sufficiently stable for indoor photography and video work. If I were to take it outside, I would sandbag the legs. Pretty common sense. I had absolutely no problem setting it up. The light boxes were as advertised and very easy to set up. The bulbs were bright and did the job. The kit came with two translucent umbrellas. The packing was tremendous but one of the umbrellas had a tear in it. I sent an email to the support address listed in the shipment and they were back to me within half a day. They offered me the choice of a cash refund for the damaged umbrella or a replacement. I asked for a replacement umbrella. Not a bit of trouble. EMARTUS actually sent me two translucent umbrellas as a replacement and I had them in less than 4 days. TREMENDOUS customer service. My videos are tremendously better using the EMARTUS product and I heartily recommend this kit for others. ... show more

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the money. Usually when I purchase these deals, where you get a set of items in one purchase, I don’t necessarily expect that great of quality as long as I get the most for my money and I can replace items for better quality as I go BUT this set was great quality! It came with everything to set up and start shooting! (no ‘bulbs not included’ or anything like that every piece comes to set up your light studio with backdrops) It came with a lot! and everything is normal studio size, the stands are all sturdy, the packaging was great.     • Worth every penny!
This is my second lighting set and this one exceeded my expectations. The items were well packed and excellent quality. One issue I had with my previous backdrop holder was that the bolts loosened and the backdrop would not stay up, especially when a backdrop was added. This back drop holder offers a much sturdier mechanism with twice as many locking mechanisms so no one lock is too stressed. The reflector was huge with a zip cover that can be turned inside out to offer a variety of different reflective surfaces. The backdrop material was nice and thick. Definitely worth every penny I spent. I will add to the review in time to see how well the items hold up. ... show more

Useful set for beginners. I love that I can pack all of this up. The back drops are a bit transparent, unfortunately, but overall this kit was a good starting point. If you care about opaque backdrops, either buy an additional one, or build your own kit. Personally I think this is good value for the money. ... show more

Easy to assemble, worth the money, the quality of the equipment alone is amazing. I really thought it was going to be cheaply made but that was definitely not the case. Great start up equipment to buy.

This is a good start out photography kit. Everything is a advertised. I really like the stability of the backdrop stand. I am able to use it for step and repeats and balloon walls as well. The only weird thing is that the cloths provided are not the full width of the poles. They will work for portrait shots. It’s difficult to shoot landscape, even with a gimbal and tripod. Also, if you need this in a timely manner, the shipping takes a while. Almost 3 weeks to a month. Overall a good product! ... show more

The background stand was broken, but since I had to take the photos soon I couldn’t send it back, I just leaned on the wall and took the photos. That’s the biggest problem, one of the lights is twinkling all the time, but I like them besides that problem. The backdrops are too small for the background, but you can always get bigger ones. But they are really short too. I wasn’t expecting great, but I tought it was going to be more decent. ... show more
