⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sleek, Stylish, and Perfect Fit!
Color: Surf Blue
This Smart Cover is exactly what I expected from Apple! The Surf Blue color is vibrant and beautiful, and it gives my iPad Mini a fresh, modern look. It attaches securely, protects the screen from scratches, and folds easily for typing or viewing. The material feels premium and durable, and it’s lightweight, so it doesn’t add bulk. Overall, a perfect combination of style, function, and protection—highly recommend!

Great color and it fits perfectly on the iPad Mini 5
Color: PINK CITRUS
With my newest iPad mini 5 I tried using a cover from a 3rd party brand that I have used before. I sent it back. It didn't hold tight to the back. The Apple cover magnets snap to the case back went you flip the front onto the back. And, most importantly you can fold a third of the cover over to allow the camera to be used. Again, it is held in place with magnets and snaps right over. Not all covers do this.

Perfect for simple screen protection
This cover simply attaches to the side of the iPad with a magnet, snapping perfectly and solidly into place. It covers the entire screen and also is lightly magnetized to keep it flat on the screen, protecting the screen in my bag, but easily flipping out if the way when I want to use the iPad. The "Smart" feature is that it turns the screen on when the cover is opened and off when it is closed. This feature can be disabled in Settings if you prefer to manually turn the screen on and off. I personally prefer this cover to a case, but am not interested in protecting the iPad from anything other than screen scratches. As others have noted here, it absolutely does not provide any protection from drops. It does allow me to enjoy the slim and light design of the iPad without adding any bulk at all.

Good cover but….
Color: Papaya
I was thinking this cover was a cover that protects the front and back of the iPad mini, but unfortunately it only covers the front. Still a nice cover just wish it also protected the back of the iPad.

Does the job it was designed to do Does the job it was designed to do
Color: PINK CITRUS
I love these covers - have had them for several iPads now. Bought this one to replace a pale pink I have had a couple of years that was starting to look very dirty. The color really goes well with the rose gold iPad. People need to remember these are face covers - I use mine with a clear plastic back for extra protection as shown in photo and have never had issues with magnet. I mostly use mine in bed or while traveling and love the fact that it’s light weight and streamlined. Not the cheapest but with Amazon dollars saved a bit.

Changing from Disappointed to DO NOT BUY, downgrading to one star Changing from Disappointed to DO NOT BUY, downgrading to one star
My original review: It may be lighter, but it is not worth the trade-off. The cover pops off easily when I am holding it one handed. It consists only of a front that hooks onto the side. And though it’s light it still leaves a groove in my little finger as the cover material is so hard. New review: Not only has this cover proved to be worthless at protecting the miniPad, it wears terribly (see pic, note lower corner wear and tear after not even a year). My device broke in April when this cover failed. Been holding together with mailing tape, but just a matter of time. Finally bought a new one. Buy an Otterbox Defender series cover for the device instead and order directly from Otterbox. Sign up for their email and get 10% off. I got one on sale and it’s a superior product. Slightly heavier but unless you want a broken screen and a worn cover and a sore thumb from this shabby Apple cover your best option.

This is 1 of 2 items, read item description
Okay, so if you believe this is the complete cover; THINK AGAIN. It is a piece, one of two. I do like these types of covers, never knew I had to buy them in sections. They aren't like an Otterbox or anything rugged. This is for the conscious people whom are doing more office and home environment related things. I fly drones, have my FAA license, and this is not what goes out into the field with me. This is what my wife uses at home to watch The Mandalorian or browse through more things to buy off Amazon. As far as the actual "value for money", I'd say that isn't a key selling point. It's the convenience and ease to prop it up while using it and ability to protect the screen, and quite easily, when you close it and put it upon a stack of magazines. Its "thickness" is fine for what it does, however; this is NOT thick. I imagine if it were, it wouldn't be so easy to fold and prop the screen up.

Not as good as previous version
Color: Pink Sand
I had an older mini with an apple cover. That cover fully surrounded the iPad. This one attaches with a on magnet along the top, the picture does not show it. If you drop the iPad even from short distances on to a couch or carpeted floor, the cover pops off. A fairly pointless cover. Attractive and nicely built, just a poor design.
