So far so good! I was extremely skeptical at first because of the bad reviews I seen. But I am actually very pleased. It did arrive dead so I had to charge it, but it didn’t come with any dings, scratches, cracks or anything. When I first turned it on it took a while to charge, it did charge to 100% and the battery does seem to last because I’ve been on it for about 20 mins and only went down 4%. But any who when I started setting it up and got to the language part it did do a weird reboot but maybe it was because it needed to charge more but outside of that this iPad is great so far. Speed wise it’s pretty good, it doesn’t move slow, the set up was easy, and I think I got a great value for my money. I’ll be back in a few weeks with an update. I will be purchasing another one for my husband! ... show more

    • You have to know how to bite the Apple, before it bites you.
I haven't used Apple since before the Mac, hence a large learning curve for me. And I hate Windows for what it has become. Yes, I am a Geezer relearning a new system. Hint, I am older than Biden by over ten years. This resetting passwords, or going back some fifty years asking me about my first car, or the city in which my Mom and Pop met us utter nonsence! They are touching back to the Apple II GS days! I bought one and three days later, no software was available. Why? Try the Apple Mac. There is your answer. The local school system bought into the II GS and were stung by the loss. I know of the school hit, my wife was a teacher there, hence my purchase. Oddly, I gave my son the reluctant computer and he worked it out. He still is an Apple maven. Judge for yourself, reader, if I am being fair in my judgement. As a sidenote, I hate Microsoft for what they did after MS 100. ... show more

    • Works well, but charging isn't consistent
Overall, I'm happy with this purchase, especially since this iPad is about 10 years old. The display and sound is great. Some users may not like the lower storage capacity and the lower resolution camera, but this suits my casual use needs (streaming YouTube videos and Netflix, playing Candy Crush, jotting down notes) and my occasional FaceTime with family members since I'm not an iPhone user. The only big con with this purchase is that it doesn't charge consistently. I'm not sure if it's the port on the iPad or the charger itself. So I have to constantly check when it's charging that it's *actually* charging. ... show more

I deleted or organized all the preloaded apps so now it’s just her learning apps, and she’s been able to navigate it easily on her own. It came at 27% battery, and although it didn’t seem to charge much at first, the battery life is impressive — she used it on and off for about four hours and it only went down to 19%. ... show more
