🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The refurbished iPad generally receives rave reviews. Most users applaud its great performance, remarking that it's practically indistinguishable from a brand new device, with amazing graphics and comfortable user experience. However, some users did express minor concerns about the battery life and occasional glitches and dings on the device.

Pros

  • 🍏 Almost equivalent to a brand new device
  • 💰 More cost-effective than buying new
  • 📷 Great graphics and screen functionality
  • 👍 Easy to set up

Cons

  • 🔌 Rapid battery drain and slow charging with the included charger
  • 💢 Some minor dings and cosmetic flaws
  • ☁️ Occasional software glitches

Should I Buy It?

If you're seeking a cost-effective solution without compromising much on quality, the refurbished iPad is a worthwhile investment. However, if you desire a device in perfect condition and having occasional, minor glitches could be a bother, then purchasing new might be preferable for you.

  • The refurbished iPad 6th Generation: Better Than I Expected
Color: Space Gray Memory Storage Capacity: 32 GB Set name: Wi-Fi
I bought the iPad 6th Generation because I wanted something inexpensive for everyday use, and I wasn’t convinced I needed one of the newer models. My biggest concern was that it would feel sluggish after a few weeks, especially since it had already been out for several years. That ended up not being the case. Most days I use it while I’m on the couch or at the kitchen table. It’s where I read the news over breakfast, watch YouTube while cooking, answer emails, browse Reddit, and look up recipes without tying up my phone. It has also become my go-to device for reading PDFs and signing documents because the larger screen is much more comfortable than doing everything on a phone. I bought a first-generation Apple Pencil a little later, mostly for handwritten notes and marking up documents. The first thing I noticed was the small air gap between the glass and the display. If you’ve never used a laminated screen, you’ll probably see it right away. I thought it would make writing feel awkward, but after a week I had stopped paying attention to it. My handwriting stayed accurate, and I never felt like the Pencil was missing my strokes. The A10 processor still handles the apps I actually use without much drama. Safari loads pages quickly, YouTube streams in HD without buffering, and switching between Mail, Notes, and Google Docs feels smooth. I usually keep six or seven browser tabs open, and that hasn’t caused any noticeable slowdowns. The only time I really see its age is when I try newer 3D games or edit larger photos. Loading takes longer, frame rates dip, and it’s obvious the hardware is working harder. Battery life has been one of the better surprises. On a normal day, I can spend a couple of hours browsing, stream a movie in the evening, and still have charge left before bed. It also loses very little battery sitting on a shelf for a few days, which makes it easy to grab whenever I need it instead of wondering if it’s dead. I didn’t think I’d care about the Home button until I started using it again. Touch ID unlocks the iPad almost instantly, even when it’s lying flat on my desk. When I’m following a recipe or reading instructions beside my keyboard, it’s actually more convenient than lifting the device or waiting for Face ID to recognize me. It definitely looks older than current iPads. The thicker bezels stand out, especially if you’ve been using one of Apple’s newer designs. The cameras are perfectly fine for FaceTime or scanning a document, but the photos are soft enough that I still reach for my phone anytime I want a decent picture. If there’s one thing I’d do differently, it would be buying the 128GB version instead of the 32GB model. After installing a handful of apps, downloading a few movies for travel, and keeping some files offline, I found myself deleting things more often than I expected. Storage became the limitation long before performance did. After using it for quite a while, that’s really my takeaway. The iPad 6th Generation isn’t the tablet I’d buy for video editing, demanding games, or anything that pushes the hardware. But for reading, streaming, note-taking, web browsing, email, and everyday productivity, it’s been consistently reliable. I don’t spend time thinking about whether it’s fast enough—I just pick it up, do what I need to do, and put it back down. For an older iPad, that’s probably the best compliment I can give it. ... show more

  • Working well so far for older renewed
Color: Space Gray Memory Storage Capacity: 32 GB Set name: Wi-Fi
Good so far for an old iPad. It came 70% charges and was unlocked. I was able to sign in and set up my account. The home button/fingerprint reader is smaller and I have to put pressure on the sensor in order for it to read my print. Because of the age of this IPad, it may not support all apps. For instance, I had to install an older version of Outlook. I bought two of these for my kids. We intend on using them for summer travel. Because my kids are supposed to be device free, I felt this was suitable. They have not had the chance to play their favorite games yet. It has a nice size screen. The graphics show its age and it lags slightly. I was having trouble changing with the included lighting cable and brick. However it did change much better with one of my apple lighting cables. Overall great value for an older renewed iPad. ... show more

  • I’d buy again for sure!
Color: Space Gray Memory Storage Capacity: 32 GB Set name: Wi-Fi
I know it’s sketchy buying a cheap refurbished electronic on anything. But I bought this as “refurbished-excellent”.. and it’s great!! Works amazing! Comes with charger for it! Screen looks absolutely brand new! ONLY thing I noticed that doesn’t bother me a bit, is there was a TINY TINY scratch on the back. Barely noticeable! Definitely worth the price!! It gives you an option to make it a personal iPad or a set it up as a kids iPad. I highly recommend! ... show more

  • Good For The Price.
Color: Space Gray Memory Storage Capacity: 32 GB Set name: Wi-Fi
Great iPad for a broke college student. It still holds a charge well, pairs perfectly with the Apple Pencil, and is great for notes, studying, and everyday use. The only downside is that its age is noticeable if you’re used to newer devices, but overall it’s a solid value for the price.
