This notebook also has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, a thin, backlit "second generation" butterfly mechanism keyboard with an integrated new "Touch Bar" that replaces the traditional function keys with a touch-sensitive control that adapts for different applications and provides Touch ID login support, and a gigantic "Force Touch" trackpad. Additionally, it has a high- resolution LED-backlit 13.3" widescreen 2560x1600 (227 ppi, 500 nits) "Retina" display, and a integrated battery that provides an Apple estimated 10 hours of runtime. This notebook is offered in either silver colored aluminum or a darker "Silver" colored aluminum housing (but not other colors) and weighs just a bit more than 3 pounds (1.37 kg). The laptop may have come in a day earlier than I expected, which was neat. There are a couple of small scratches on the lid of the laptop, which surprised me, but it is a refurbished laptop. Otherwise the laptop is working fine.

    • Great Laptop for the Price
I was looking for a laptop for school and this is exactly what I needed. It is in good condition for a 2016 MacBook. A couple of keys didn't work correctly, but after tapping the back of the laptop where the keys were located, the problem was fixed. I believe the issue was dust and debris, so I purchased a keyboard cover to prevent this from happening. There is a small light issue in the bottom left corner of the screen, but this wasn't an issue for me. The charger that was sent was not an Apple brand charger, but the charger was not what I was purchasing. The charger works okay, but it causes the computer to restart if overcharged. Writing this review a year later because that's how long it lasted me. I doubt it's the seller's fault, it is more of Apple's fault for not building this one to last. I had a Mac book 2010 edition and it lasted me 9 years with no issues but I guess they've just downed their quality. The 2016 Mac book pro is not worth it, the screen slowly worsened and now won't even turn on. Don't risk it, just spend the extra $$ on a brand new laptop. ... show more

    • How pathetic
So. I get this macbook this afternoon and start setting it up. The second I set it up and had everything done, it powers off automatically. I go to turn it back on and nothing. This is only about 2 hours after opening. I had it on the charger as well. Moral of the story, read the reviews before blowing this much money on things. Thankfully support is helping me with this issue and are being wonderful 😌 ... show more

Daughter bought this Macbook with money she saved, working all summer. She was so excited when it arrived. Used it almost every day. Didn't last an entire year. Won't turn on, or take a charge. Dead to the world! What an absolute let down. Seller doesn't stand behind the products they sell. Buyers beware! Now wondering how much it is going to cost to repair.
