My 17 y/o, 10 pound cat seems to enjoy our 45 minute early morning walks in this. She has a nice view out the plexiglass (?) bubble and the mesh areas and holes provide a nice amount of ventilation. The base seems very secure and she fits in it well. I am a 5’4” 67 y/o female of average build and I find it comfortable and easy to use. It seems very sturdy and the zippers work well. I’ve used it quite a bit for a couple months and would definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded. So I purchased this particular bubble backpack for several reasons. First reason is I wanted my 10 month old kitten (Tempest) to be able to see all around him. Instead of just a little window. Second reason is that the back of the backpack expands out for more room. I wanted to wait until I was able to really test it out before leaving a review. The color of the backpack matches my boy's harness and leash (as I am trying to keep stuff color coordinated) and is a beautiful color. It very closely matches the pictures. The price is amazing for the sturdiness and durability of it as well.... When it first arrived my kitten immediately came up to it and crawled into it. Everytime I take it out he runs up and goes into it. The first week or two I only walked around the house with him as he is young and doesn't know what it is. That and the fact it is currently winter and was an average of -15°. Well today Tempest got his first real trip in it!! I went for a walk to a near by lake and had him in his little vest and leash. He cried for most of the way there, but my younger sister walked behind to comfort him. The video I attached shows how comforting he finds his backpack to be as well as how comfortable he is inside it. He stayed quite warm in it as well. He even napped in it on our way back! When we did get back he kept following me around and looking for it as he wanted to go back out. All in all the comfort of wearing it myself (with the little stinker moving around) was very pleasant. The back of the carrier is cushioned so it feels better for it moving around. The straps are thick and padded as well and has a chest buckle (another reason why I purchased this one), which I find very helpful and supportive. The backpack withstood a lot of snow and the held up great with my kitten inside for the hour walk. I definitely reccomend this if you are looking for something to take your little one out in!!! UPDATE! I was able to take my baby out all summer long last year! He loves his backpack. He feels very uncomfortable and unsafe with strangers around. This backpack is his safe spot. Whenever we run into people on the trail I simply have to set the backpack down with the small side door open and crawls right into it. He fits very well and as you can see in our mountain hike it unfolds to allow space to lay fully out. Ample room and clear view for him. He stayed in the backpack on our kayaking trip until we reached halfway across the lake (away from beach partiers). I was able to easily secure it to the kayak as well. Still highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take their cat out with them.

I've been looking for a backpack to carry my dog in for quite sometime now. The ones I looked at previously were either open on top or very much "in your face I have a dog here" type backpack. I wanted something light, discreet, and versatile. This backpack exceeded my expectations. The material is lightweight but durable (think Jansport but lighter and more breathable). It is spacious without being bulky because the material is so soft that it basically conforms to the space you need rather than sticking out like a big hulk of fabric. The mesh was surprisingly great. I was a bit skeptical at first as the mesh since it was made of a thick fabric rather than rubber. Not only does the mesh hold up well, because of its thickness, it also makes it hard for others to see that you have a dog inside! Now, I'm not saying this is an incognito carrier, but for a backpack that is made for regular use, it sure does a great job of making your pup less noticeable while giving it ample breathing space. The backpack has several mesh spots allowing for ventilation both when your pup is sitting up (that little zip window) or laying down (on the side of the backpack). The soft mesh also means that unlike other backpacks, you can roll this up when not in use with ease. The zippered pocket outside holds a lot more than I expected (poopy bags, napkins, small wallet, and keys). People have mentioned having issues with the bottom panel popping out but I didn't experience any issues. You can always buy a velcro to adhere the panel to the bottom of the backpack if that's the case but I found that when the panel is *inserted properly* and the backpack is *worn properly* it does not pop out. I've used this backpack a handful of times already and everytime, the panel has stayed put and I never needed to readjust it even after taking my pups out. The key is to insert the panel fully into and under the side edge (almost like you are digging beneath the bag). When you do so, the bottom of the bag will stretch out and stay put. When I wear it, the bottom panel is perpendicular to my back but it does not cause me any pain though my dogs are small (less than10lbs) so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. This backpack also has a leash holder inside as well as a small clasp to make sure your puppy doesn't escape. Finally, some reviewers mentioned that they had issues with the zipper pull. Although I haven't encountered this problem so far, I can attest that the zipper pull seems to be not as well made as the other parts of this bag. However, this is limited to the zipper *pull* and not the zipper itself. Given how great everything is and how the zipper pull could be easily replaced, this did not bother me at all. (Note: The zipper pull also has a built in buckle to prevent your pup from accidentally opening the zipper.) After purchasing so many different pet backpack carriers, I finally found "the one". Stop reading this and go get this now!
