I have been using my MacBook Pro for a week now so I figured a review was due. For the last 10 years, I have owned an old Gateway laptop. Although it was amazing and lasted me, it was time for an upgrade. I own an Apple phone so I decided to look into a computer as well. I have never owned an Apple laptop so this purchase was very new to me. I'm a graduate student working towards my Masters and needed a small but decently powerful laptop that would last me. I opened the box and the laptop was ready for me to set up. The set up process was super easy to follow and I had it ready to go within minutes. I also purchased a downloadable version of Microsoft word, which was installed within minutes as well. This MacBook has excellent processing speed. The screen is crystal clear and I really enjoy the touchbar. I set up the fingerprint reader so I just touch it and I log in automatically. I haven't tried the camera as of yet. The speakers are really awesome for this little computer. I love how the speakers are arranged on both sides of the keyboard so you get the even sound. I also chose the MacBook Pro because it has 4 usb ports. 2 on each side. I can't see this as being a gaming computer but for what I need it to do, it is high performance. Update: I have now had my MacBook Pro for about a month or more. I couldn't be more happier. I am into music and love having my Spotify go while I do everything. The speakers on this are incredible. Sound is decently loud and is even within both speakers. Love how they are on each side of the keyboard instead of above it. I can open several files, run music, surf the web and the efficiency remains well rounded. Maybe I am biased because this is my very first MacBook Pro in my entire life but to me, it is top notch!

I’ve wanted a MacBook for a while now because of the build quality and the simplicity of the OS. I spend an average 6 hours a day using it for college and the battery still has a fair charge left. The screen looks great and the touchbar is useful especially for word. Apple does a great job at integrating their products. Being able to unlock my laptop using my watch is great. It’s pricy, but I guess you’re also paying for the brand.

It could be a nice laptop. It has a very decent battery, a great screen and good OS. However, it gets really hot. No matter how you use it. Don't put it on your knees or your skin will burn, yet putting it on a table or any flat surface won't change anything . Furthermore, the keyboard is also net the best. I doubt this laptop will survive very long due to the thermal stress. Inacceptable for such a high price. 1/5.

When you think of Apple you automatically think expensive if your anything like me. When purchasing this laptop I was skeptical on rather if I should get a fully equipped HP, Dell, or just get an Apple. Just an Apple was my choice because of the brand name, but also because Apple products are always one of the best designs on the market. Apple products are one of the most durable brands on the market as well. With the fully the aluminum body, touch bar, and superior speakers this computer is undeniable. One thing that I do not like is the ports. There are four ports on the laptop, but the ports are USB-C which makes the normal functions a little more difficult to get used to. When it comes to Apple the flaws or the unexpected changes that may be an inconvenience is also what created this brand as superior and is the reason why they can charge you three arms and three legs for a computer. The brand name is established, the style is second to none, and the computer is also one of the best offered. Once you get past the honeymoon phase then buyers remorse it's overall worth it.

It could be so expensive to be a computer, and to buy more accessories to connect with peripherals devices, but this Mac Book Pro is a great and product. The Touch Bar is really cool to use and create a new way to use commands in your laptop. Im using this laptop in Lima, Peru, and its working good.

This is just a beautiful laptop. Apple is known for that sleek crispy designs, but the Touch Bar and the entire sleekness of this laptop is amazing. I do photography and video editing on the side and still haven’t had the need to buy a separate hard drive which is nice. It’s compact fits into almost anything bag and lasts a good 4 hours off the charger which is again NICE!!!
