These stands came well packed and were easy to assemble. Each stand came with a rubber gasket/strip to use on the bottom of the base to prevent them from damaging floors and to keep them from sliding around (I think). The base feels heavy enough to prevent them from tipping over, but it's not too heavy to carry them around. The stands are height adjustable, and the frames can be angled to suit your needs. It was easy to insert the posters I made for the event I needed these for, as well as turning the frames from portrait to landscape orientation. I think they represent an excellent value and seem sturdy enough to last for a few events at least. I only have one gripe, and that is that the rubber gaskets had a very strong, unpleasant rubber odor to them. Fortunately, this odor dissipated within probably a day after assembly. I only wanted to mention it for those who might be sensitive to scents. I am not and I was affected by the strong odor ... show more

These are nice. They stay in position (height). Reason for 4 stars - the rubber part that goes on the bottom pieces - will not stay in place and I had to glue them.

These work SO WELL for events. They are the perfect height for people to view what the sign says. My business, Run Til You Fly Face Painting, uses these at almost every event for an options menu. They are easy to transport and change out the paper. I just had a clipboard with my options menu before. Nice idea and affordable, but some of the assembly and keeping assembled was frustrating. Not sure how well these would hold up over time. Rubber rings around the base were hard to put on kept coming off. Also lightweight so best for indoors because a wind could make them unstable. Some of the clear plastic inserts were bent on arrival. Loved these at first I got them for a flu clinic, easy to exchange the 11 x 17 posters, and you can have it horizontal or vertical, but when I tighten the pole because it started leaning, it broke very easily at the tightening mechanism - bummer
