Of course it is the first day using the product, but I am so far very satisfied! Came with 70% battery so I was able to update no problem. I have been using it for a few hours to test the battery life and it has barely gone down, definitely a strong battery. I was nervous because of the reviews with charging issues, but I just used my iPhone lightning charger and had no problems, so I assume the issues stem from the charger provided with the iPad. I needed an iPad for nursing school and this was a great affordable option! Bought it used in good condition, and to my surprise- no dents, scratches, or problems at all when I first received it! It still has good battery life & sound quality, as well as functioning touch screen and Touch ID capabilities. Would be 5/5 stars if not for one problem (4th picture) mysteriously appearing 2 months after my purchase. iPad Air 3’s are apparently known for having a display malfunction that is a hardware issue (basically not fixable) that appears as a bright white spot about the home button due to heat flow through the techy stuff under the screen. I use several iPad Air Gen 3’s to control the HVAC, Security, Pool and other house systems. Each one is mounted inside a LaunchPort inductive recharging system and booster battery. One of these iPads stopped charging. These iPads are no longer available new. It was great to be able to get a refurbished one from Amazon. Someone from Amazon asked me to write a review of this item. So here goes. I purchased this iPad Air 3 because I have never had an iPad before. I have heard how wonderful they are. And this was on sale. I thought this was a great opportunity to try one. I worked with it for 3 days. What I learned was that I am in over my head. I am age 71, disabled with Parkinson's disease, and my memory is not as good as it used to be. IMO a college student with good eye-hand co-ordination, great memory and problem-solving abilities would be be more suited to use this product. So I plan to sell this to someone I know of who could use it in their college classes, taking notes, doing papers, etc. As for me, it was an interesting experiment, but no, thank you. ... show more
