Pros. 10/10 would recommend for the price. Build quality of this kit was really good and the shipping box was robust. Fits well even with my engine raised an inch. I had to trim off 3/4 of an inch on the 90° fitting from the throttle body correct the clearance from the hood. The material used for the joint connection fittings are fiber reinforced, not just some cheap rubber fitting. The air filter was larger than expected and is built well. The kit also includes an air cone that fits inside the air filter to increase flow velocity which was unexpected but a very nice touch. My AFE Carbon Track Series intake on my SRT8 Grand Cherokee doesn’t have this feature. Heat shield was made of good quality metal and came with a rubber gasket to go around the edges of it to help in sealing from the heat of the engine bay. Even the hose clamps were of good quality Cons. Instructions were faded black and white print and could be better. It’s not that it was difficult to install, it just could be better. The logo is pretty rad. Would be nice if they tossed in a couple stickers to represent their product. Definitely would have put them on. Side note. Where the air is being drawn from you may want to cut a 3-4 inch hole beneath the air filter for colder air and additional flow. You will understand after you see when it’s mounted. I plan on doing this additional mod as well as fabricating some metal to help direct flow and keep out larger debris.

The fitment was a little off for my 2000 Grand Cherokee but you can make it work. Comes with everything you need and sounds great!

This does not fit a 2000 jeep cherokee, but after cutting the top flat so it wasnt hitting the hood and shortening the intake pipe and flipping it backward and going to the hardware store for another crankcase breather hose and 90 degree connector I made it work well and it looks okay

This is a nice complete kit. Pros: Nice heat shield, all hardware included, powdercoating seems to be of good quality. Installation was easy and straight forward and there was no guessing on where things go. The fit is acceptable and is a great upgrade for an old beatup stock intake. Cons: Not a huge fan of the air filter. I will be changing it out for a K&N when it gets dirty. It just doesn't seem to have the build quality of the name brand filters, I would say it is inline with the Autozone Spectre filter. Overall: This is a great kit for the money, it has many features of the higher end units and doesn't cost much more than your standard oldschool CIA. I do like the added volume of the intake sound and makes the engine sound a bit more aggressive. I did not notice any seat of the pants increase in power, but I installed this to replace an old torn plastic intake.

I got this to replace an old cold air intake that had just become too gunky over the years and wasn't worth cleaning again. This has an aluminum pipe rather than a plastic one like my old one did, so there's no chance of it compressing and limiting air flow when it warms up inside the engine bay. It was a one to one fit and was an easy plug and play install. This whole thing is solidly made and I noticed a fair bit of performance increase and better gas mileage compared to my old one. You can hear the difference in the way the jeep breathes now lol. Good price for a solid kit that will show immediate improvement.

Fits our 1996 XJ 4.0L. Instructions are pretty clear. Took about 30 minutes to install. I like the pre-filter sock that keeps the filter free of smaller debris. Makes a real cool noise from intake! The aluminum intake tube is nicely finished with a textured black. Clamps tighten up well and seal. No leaks. Good intake for the price. I'll update on the durability if any issues arise.

96 XJ 4.0. Ordered because I've wanted one for some time and this company seems to have some good stuff eith good reviews. This will be a bit of a long honest review. So buckle up. The cone air filter feels like a good quality filter. Nothing super special but nothing cheap. It also comes with a hair net like filter to apply over it for more dusty environments so that's a nice addition. The silicone adapters, elbow and PCV Vent feel of good quality and solid construction. No complaints there. Also looks very nice. Now the problems. The elbow is a tad bit larger in which I wish they just forged the pipe with a elbow for a more low profile fit and look. Also the heat shield took some bending to install, but still worked. Everything works just fine. Everything fits. Only the elbow does make contact with the sound wall underneath the hood so I don't know how long that will last regarding heat, friction, rubbing, etc. I just replaced the engine mounts so HOEPFULLY it doesn't move as much as before and doesn't cause a hole in the elbow. My suggestions to make this better is either include a more low profile silicone elbow, or forge the pipe with a elbow so its not making contact with the hood when fully closed. As for the heat shield, well unless they actually apply it to the XJ they probably won't be able to get those dimensions perfected. But they can try? Does it work? Yes. Very well actually. No vacuum leaks. Nothing. I am just uneasy with it touching the hood. I kept my factory intake just in case.
