The APONUO Solar Post Cap Lights are a set of four solar-powered lights that can be used to decorate and illuminate fence posts, deck posts, patio posts, or any other outdoor posts. They have a stylish design with a filament post light, emitting a warm white or cool white light depending on your preference. They also come with 2x different adapters, allowing you to mount them on 4x4 or 6x6 wooden or vinyl posts which is def a nice inclusion. **Pros** - The lights are crazy easy to install and operate. You just screw the base onto the post, twist to lock the LED light into the base, and turn on the switch to your desired color. You can also change the color mode and adjust the brightness level by turning on and off the switch. The lights have 10 led beads and can emit ~15 lumens light automatically after sunset. - The lights are fairly durable and weather-resistant. They are made of pretty much all plastic, but they are fully waterproof apparently. They also have a smart chip that prevents overcharging and over-discharging of the battery, which should help extend its lifespan. - The lights are energy-efficient and eco-friendly since they use nothing but solar power to charge the battery, and can last up to 20 hours on low brightness mode! They also have a warm white color temp of 3000K, or a cool white color temp of 6500K, both of which are easy on the eyes. **Cons** - The longevity def takes a hit cloudy or rainy days, as they need direct sunlight to charge the battery. By my observations on cloudy days these guys will only stay on thru about 3-4am, whereas on a full-sun day they’ll easily make it to sunrise. - The lights may not be bright enough for some users who need more illumination for their space. These guys are def best used as accent/auxiliary lights, if your expecting to get enough light to do like functional things, look elsewhere. - The lights may not fit some post sizes or shapes, as they are designed for standard 4x4 or 6x6 posts. Also I have noticed on a couple of occasions now that even with the base fully screwed in and secured to my posts very high winds can pop these guys off. So def keep an eye on them after storms and such. - Build quality def leaves something to be desired, wish they could have reinforced these guys with at least some metal in the bases or whatever… **Final Thoughts** The APONUO Solar Post Cap Lights are a great product for anyone who wants to add some charm and light to their outdoor space on a budget! While there are def higher build-quality options out there, for the cost and flexibility these guys provide I can’t help but recommend them to any homeowner looking to fit out a large fence without going broke. Plus they look quite stylish and not cheap up on your fence, so long as your looking form about 10-15’ away lol!

This was the last step in a major deck refurb. And it was the icing on the cake! Everything fit perfectly the first time, and went on like a dream. On a short December day, they charge up and some brightly nearly all night. I’m sure they’ll go until dawn the other three seasons. Solid product.

Super simple to instal;. Don't be intimidated even if you are not handy. One thing I did not like was the light is directed outwards from the head of the unit, not downward to my deck below. So these are more decorative rather than functional safety lights. However, these look great from 6+ feet away, and so long as you don't handle them then they look fitting for a higher priced home. They have a nice design. But, at this cost, what can you expect for actual quality? They are flimsy plastic and have the feel, and close-up look that is indicative for the price: very low. This is not a complaint. If I had paid $20, $40 or more per unit, this would be a very different review, but for the super low price of these units, the value is spot on. Let's see how long they last. Good luck!

The design is smart, if you have a vinyl fence with 6x6 post, you can use the large base, if you have a wood fence with 4x4 post, then you use the small base. We ordered the set of 12 solar post caps for our vinyl fence and the bases fit perfectly, normally you just put the solar on the post then it's done, but our area is pretty windy so we use a little bit PVC glue to secure them. The batteries get a whole day of sunlight to charge so the lights last from dusk to dawn, the batteries are removeable so after months or a year, you can replace them with the new ones. Price is reasonable, I wished I had the 24% coupon when I purchased it but overall, I'm happy with the products.

Very cheap plastic. Flimsy. They are easy to install. I had eight of them up and running in no time. They do the job and a nice upgrade to a plain fence post. The light can be switched from white to yellow. The light output is purely decorative and provides no real true, outdoor path lighting. A bit pricey for what they are. I would give it one more star if they would include enough screws for each of the four slots to secure for the top of the bracket to the post, but they only include two per bracket. I would also like to see them add black screws for the sides to make more aesthetically pleasing. I will have to purchase these from a home improvement store on my own.

The solar railing post cap lights work great. They give off just the right mount of light and stayed just as bright till sun up. We did have one stop working after just 2.5 months BUT the seller/ company made good by their product and replaced it. So a 6 star rating is in order for this product and the company and I highly recommend. The light parts twist lock together and is a bit loose but is easily fixable.

We had no problem installing these lights, really easy! They were installed in the morning and working by dark. They look very nice along our deck stairs! Be aware that there is a slider switch inside with 3 options, OFF, W (white), or Y (yellow). Be sure to choose W or Y or they will not turn on!!
