I was hoping to find a family room rug that looks like a faded tribal rug, is soft underfoot but not too thick, and inexpensive. I wanted gray/light taupe with a little black. This synthetic rug is exactly what I was looking for and came in the size I wanted, 5.3x7.3. I do have to put heavy books along the edges as directions suggest, but it shouldn’t take long for the edges to settle down. I don’t detect a smell and I have a very sensitive nose.
