Unit was damaged in transport. Not the sellers fault. They made good on the claim, it just took awhile. The lockout linkage should be sturdier. The lift as a whole works just fine. I installed it myself. The directions should be redone, but that's what YouTube is for.

I’d be glad to rewrite the manual for them. Other than that the lift is well manufactured. Nice welds and paint quality. All parts fit well and it was very easy to assemble. I assembled by myself with jacks a come-a-long and two furniture dollies from HFT which made things manageable because the crate is very heavy. I’m pretty sure if you get one of these units you won’t be disappointed once it’s together, I am. My unit show up 10 days early which surprised me, I was not ready but somehow I managed. It’s been 6weeks since it was delivered and I am very happy with it. I would have given 5 stars but the manual is for the birds.
