To service certain components on my vehicle, I needed a syringe style fluid extractor and filler. I originally purchased what looks like a giant plastic syringe, but the opening was very small to push the thick liquid through making the process very difficult. I purchased this item and it worked so much better. I actually to a 2-pack with a 200cc version as well for smaller jobs. I just completed servicing my car this weekend and it worked perfectly. There was no leakage of any fluids, and the fill action was much easier than the traditional syringe style filler. I highly recommend this for the money, and look forward to using it for years to come.

Works really well. Used to do my steering fluid change and remove some overfill from my transmission. Cleans well and the gasket on the piston/plunger is good and hasn’t let any fluid stay in when I’ve compressed it and pushed out whatever fluid it was holding. To be honest this was an asking buy and will help with our car maintenance a lot. Very happy.

Does not work, does not create vacuum to extract. warranty is a joke. No way to contact seller. After receiving it it was flushed clean with water the and pipes and dried. Then the workshop did a job with this on a 2006 Volvo All wheel drive differential replacing it's electronic pump and refill with new oil. After about 500 miles the customer complained of grinding noise in differential. He went to Volvo dealership they drained oil and found black plastic pieces that killed the Diff ! Customer brought the pieces found by dealers in oil and blamed our shop. We had used this Swanlake on three cars Volvo was the third and last. After washing again clean Swanlake with hot water and soap with a simple camera we could see inside and in the water we drained same kind of plastic pieces the customer brought. In all honesty we knew it was only our shop that did the repairs and filled genuine Volvo oil in the Diff. And we saw the poorly finished Swanlake had plastic shavings and more ready to fall and mix in oil. We paid out $2470 to the customer and we gave this Swanlake to the customer as he and his wife asked for it as we had just dumped it in Trash. All this happened in a matter of 3 months and 500 miles after the job. I would caution everyone who bought this kind of a thing to expect a serious damage to transmission or differentials wherever you use this. We wanted a little ease of use but our old ways are the best and cleanest way, even when we use hand held suction and fill pumps. Just that it's too messy but we never had this kind of a mess from any job we did without using Swanlake. Metal or plastic shavings are sure death for any vehicle in any moving parts, fuel , air and oil systems . We just trusted this product blindly and paid a heavy price for it.

Love this device. Easy to set up out the box. It stores up to 7 liters of fluids. Easy to empty. I’ve used it for oil changes, brake fluid changes and once to remove water from my gas tank after my car got flooded! Very versatile.
