i dont usually write review but when i recieved my stress coat i felt obligated to write one. first the bottle was only 41 ounces including the bottle when i used it for my aquarium there were white transucant like hairs all over my aquarium i went to petco and bought searchum prime and did a 50 percent water change and over the past 3 days there have been no white transulcent hairs in my aquarium i am disapointed it is better to spend more money and get better performance then get a great deal and it wont work. i hope it was just a old batch for everyone elses sake. if your worried about this product id sagest searchum prime. searchum has great products that work!!! ... show more

  • Works well with water changes. I've used this for years!
I've been using this stuff for years. I have a 90 gallon fish tank and use this with every water change I do. I normally buy the smaller bottles which last me quite awhile. Amazon now only lets you buy those as an add on product so I decided to buy this bigger bottle this time around. For the price and the amount it is worth it for me. I know some others use another higher priced product which I do want to try out one day, but for now this has worked for me for years so I don't like changing it up especially when dealing with a lot of money in live fish! ... show more

I rely pretty heavily on API Stress Coat because I have a discus tank that compares in value to many saltwater tanks. I do water exchanges about every 3 days and I want my fish happy. Adding stress coat helps my fish adjust well to the changing water and stress associated with frequent water exchanges. I am happy with this stuff and require large amounts! ... show more

  • Great value for the amount you get!
I’m glad I found this stuff. I only use stress coat for my dechlorinator. I love that this was a bigger bottle and is way cheaper then buying the small bottle at pet stores!!

  • Stress level has dissipated
Thanks to API Stress Coat Water Conditioner, 64-Ounce product. I have a saltwater tank and have purchased a variety of products throughout the years and (for my money) this is my favorite to use. I love the fact that not only does the water get conditioned for chlorine but aloe is included among other additives to help aid in fish health. The price was great and shipping was fast. My only complaint is that I wish it included a pump, pouring can be messy and pumping would be more convenient. I have since bought a small pump for this. Fish are happy and I think I heard Dori from my tank say, "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming....". lol ... show more

  • Good value overall
We like the amount to keep in stock and to pour into our smaller bottle. We use it when we add new fish to our tank and it calms the fish.
