Description

Easily transport large objects of varying lengths and width using the Elevate Outdoor Universal Utility Rack. This versatile truck rack is manufactured from high-strength aluminum that is both lightweight and corrosion-resistant, and it can support up to 800 pounds of cargo across both rack sections. The fully adjustable cross-bar design measures 66.5" wide and clamps onto the inside bedrail of full, mid-size or compact pick-up truck beds up to 65" wide using hand tools, with a no-drill installation process that means no holes in your truck! This rack has built-in eye bolts for tie-downs and hooks, and the four ladder stops can be adjusted as wide as 52" with large turn knobs. It assembles easily and is simple to remove when not needed.

It's quality aluminum extrusion. I was surprised at the quality of the aluminum based on price and the rack is very sturdy. One of the legs was missing a pre-drilled hole but easy enough to drill. All the hardware is ferrous so I replaced with stainless from another vendor for a corrosion free install. I spent another ~$83 on stainless hardware and still lower price than anything else I could find. I have a 2005 Ford Ranger and did modify the aluminum mounting bases to work around the stake pockets. Again, easy enough to drill. Highly recommend. ... show more

I had a steel ladder rack on my previous pickup and this is much better for several reasons. I have used this rack twice and it works great. But there are several things that could be better. The instructions are not good. The first step is to put lock tight on the bolts which you should not do. The parts are not marked and the instructions are not good so that I put some of it together backwards. I figured out what was wrong and put it back together right. Then I backed the bolts out and put the lock tight on them. I have a 2019 Ford Ranger. I have the Undercover tool box on both sides. See the pic that it works fine with it. See the pic on how the clamps fit and it feels secure. It is tall enough that it is above the antenna and short enough that it fits in the garage. Bottom line is I'm glad that I got it. ... show more

So far so good! I purchased these about a week ago and have already used it quite a bit for traveling with kayaks! Works really well, doesn’t whistle as far as I’ve noticed and seems incredibly sturdy. I can move the entire truck by grabbing any part of the rack and “testing it”! Looks like the expensive ones without the expensive price tag and appreciate the time they took to put tracks in it for other accessories such as the eyebolts and “gear stops” which come with it! Great value so far and will update this if anything changes. Will most likely add a couple of stacker bars to carry more kayaks. ... show more

At first it was a little confuse to install since the parts were not label and the instructions were alright I had to keep reading over over again in order to install but beside that strong fits perfectly in the truck

I originally purchase this for item in January. First, the wrong package was delivered to my house.Then then a package that was damaged and retaped is it arrived. Upon opening it, there were missing components.No directioas well as marks showing use.

I was looking for an easier way to haul my canoe around, so instead of struggling to lift up the canoe on the roof of my vehicle, I decided to mount a rack to my utility trailer. This rack checks most of the marks. It's light weight and appears to be well made. For my application, the c-clamps that come with the rack wouldn't work so I ended up drilling holes through the rack and my trailers side rail and installed 3/8"x 1.5" bolts to accommodate it. ... show more
