I’m writing this review because I’ve been recommending it to people personally, but noticed there are some 1-star reviews that quite frankly HAVE to be fake. I liked this so much for home that I bought one for our office. It’s so so good. I was considering buying the Berky because everyone swears by it. But I couldn’t get on board with the manual refill requirement. After hours of research, I came across this one that seemed to meet all the needs of convenience, function, and easy installation, but didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I was skeptical because I read a review about the water being rancid. I was ready to return it if there were any problems. I literally installed this in 30-60 seconds and there were no leaks. I did the same thing at the office on a commercial kitchen sink. So easy! They send you extra parts to make it work if there are any special faucets, but both times I didn’t need the extra parts. The water tastes amazing. It’s so so good. I cannot imagine why ppl would give this bad reviews other than gorilla warfare that happens on amazon from competitors. To anyone that’s skeptical like me, just buy it! You can always return it if you have problems. I promise you won’t. Also, it’s not eligible for prime which was annoying to me (I’m spoiled with 1 or 2 day delivery) but I think it’s worth the wait.

After much research and reading lots of reviews I chose this filter and I'm glad I did. Please note if the adapter that's in the box doesn't work for your kitchen or bathroom faucet, just go to home Depot or Lowe's and get one. I had to get a different adapter and I have almost a brand new faucet. MY THOGUHTS ABOUT COST They recommend replacing the filters every 6 months and the filters run about 55 bucks so you're at about $9 a month cost for unlimited filtered water that is alkaline. In the grocery store a gallon of alkaline water costs about five bucks and you are drinking nano plastics. I was spending over $12 a month on refilling gallon bottles for coffee and dog water and then spending at least another $30 a month buying bottled water which we all know makes you drink a lot of nano plastic that's probably not good for you. If you want a simple solution and don't want to have to get a plumber involved to install a water filter definitely get this one. Five stars all the way and the water tastes great.

I have been using a Brita pitcher filter…this is awesome! Super easy to setup out of the box. I literally reviewed the paperwork quickly, removed my sink nozzle and looked though the abundant amount of adapters it came with and found the one I needed. I attached it to my spout and tightened the fittings 1/8 to 1/4 turn past tight to seal the gaskets. Turned the ball valve and then ran water for 5 straight minutes through it. I got the first sip in the house XD. It tastes sooooo much better. I will keep this for quite a while! Wonderful find. Total setup time with water running maybe 9 minutes from box open to first glass! The item comes assembled and the tubing is also done very well!

This APEX product filters water exceptionally well. I could see the difference in the water from my kitchen sink. It was noticeably clear and clean. This product is good value for money; however, it takes more work to install than the instructions suggest. The parts included did not fit my faucet, and I had to bring a plumber to install it, but other than that, it is a great product.

This is my first water filter purchase other than using a smaller filter/pitcher. The water tastes better and I feel great. I did have to buy additional adapters to fit my faucet but it was very easy and straight forward to install. Saving a lot of money from not buying filtered water from the store. Very happy!

Doesn't work. Installed the filter on the kitchen with the adapter and it leaks water from the base. Nothing comes out of the spout. The filter is on tight. Not sure how this was defective

Amazing countertop filter system. I have been searching for a water filter at my dads house. He has a very long cast iron sink that could not be cut through for under sink installation. I had given up and was just searching for water filters, and this came up. I was so excited that it not only filters all the bad stuff out, but also raises the alkalinity of the water!! For this price, I was very surprised! The best filter for the money, ever! We made a system of turning cold water on, then flip lever on faucet, then when mostly filled cup or saucepan, flip back on faucet, then turn off cold water. That way we don't run risk of accidentally running hot water through it! Bc of the pressure, it will trickle for awhile, so we keep a cup under it to catch all the good water, then pour in dog bowls or plants! Enjoy great water!

I've been using a Berkey filter for a few years now and I decided I wanted to try something a bit more alkaline so I went with this filtration system just to give it a shot. First off the installation with ridiculously easy literally like a minute or two and it was good to go. I let the water run through it or several minutes straight then I did a side-by-side taste test with the Berkey. Taste wise between my wife and I we couldn't tell a difference at room temperature or cold so take from that what you will. Overall replacing these filters will cost a little more than the Berkey but saving the hassle of having to fill the Berkey up nightly is definitely worth it in my opinion. This is a great filtration system and I am sticking with it. As an added bonus it's very aesthetically pleasing and takes up a lot less counter space.
