Description

APEC Essence 75 GPD pH 6 stage complete filter set is made with high quality filtration components to protect and prolong the lifespan of your reverse osmosis system. Premium quality filter set lasts over 6 months for high performance impurity removal, while the membrane and post carbon filter last 2-4 years. The 6th stage pH+ inline filter enhance the pH of water and adds premium grade quality calcium carbonate into the water. Compatible for APEC 75 GPD Essence ROES-PH75 under the counter reverse osmosis systems. 1st Stage: Sediment removal 5 micron 10" filter —removes dirt, particles, and rust. Protects and extends the life of the membrane and system. 2nd and 3rd Stage: Carbon block 10 micron 10” filter —gets rid of unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness and colors. Also removes VOCs and other common harmful synthetics from the water. 4th stage: high rejection 75 GPD TFC reverse osmosis membrane. Glad to know this things filtering out all that junk from the San Diego water supply. Wish I could make sure it's getting rid of the fluoride poison and other chemicals that are added to the supply. Love my system. Never going back. Filters were well packaged and came with specific instructions on how to replace. I recommend washing out filter holders and replacing o-rings while you’re there. You don’t want those to start leaking all over.

The media could not be loaded. The new filter has a smaller diameter and the clip no longer fits. For some reason the new filter doesn’t have the American flag on it either. May be not made in America. Makes me question if these are the oem filters or not. If it were to clip I’d have no problem. Also the instructions mention putting bleach in a part but it’s not very clear how and which part. If you mess it up you could destroy your filter fyi so don’t just believe any YouTube video ... show more

I ordered the seals as well. Only needed to replace 1 of the 3, but it was definitely due when I opened the filter housing. It was like touching mascara, got it all over my hands. Other 2 seals showed no signs of degradation.
