I ordered this because my thumb nail had split across half way and I didn’t want to cut it off. I didn’t do exactly what the instructions recommend because I didn’t want cover my whole nail with it. First of all I put a tiny bit of the glue over the split and waited for it to dry, then with a toothpick I applied a second amount of glue and then the powder. I also put a bit of the glue on the toothpick and put it underneath the nail where the split was. After the first application dried (give it 5 minutes) I then did this 2 more time’s building it up over the split. When it was thoroughly dry, about 1/2 an hour. I then gently filed and buffed it level with the natural nail and this was the result. I don’t know how long it will last but I must say I’m impressed. It’s not like acrylic which I was expecting it’s thicker glue. I also had to add just a little more glue over the top of the powder just to make it transparent. Just be sure you let it dry properly before filing otherwise it will just ball up and rub off.

Natural long nail girlie here. I keep my nails long and every once in a while I rip/break/tear one. I have tried (several) repair solutions, most of which have not really worked. They work for a day or two but then the rip is back and I usually have to go with a big chop and start growing them over... I REALLY did not want to cut my nails so I figured, what the heck, I'll give another one of these repair kits a try.... This.One.WORKS! I'm typing this after repairing my nail about a week ago. It's perfect! I painted the nail. It's sturdy. No snagging, no pulling, fully repaired. I'm so grateful I found this! I took a picture but you literally can't tell where the nail was repaired -- it's that good. I did two coats. Glue, Powder (pause).. Glue, Powder (pause) Buff. Highly recommend to anyone looking to save a broken nail!

THIS WORKED! The last thing I tried didn’t work at all. By the time this arrived my broken nail ripped off but I was able to reattach with this and hold it until the break grows out. Yippee. Excellent.

I've never used this before. When I had a little bit of a chunk missing from nail and another had a dent in the top edge of my nail I decided to try this. It works great and lasts! When I run out I will be buying this again.

This is a fantastic product that works better than any other nail repair I’ve tried. When my nails get too long, they split on the sides, typically down into the nail bed, which is super painful. I applied this 3 weeks ago to 3 of my nails & they are all still intact, not having broken or split further. It does require a couple applications for more severe cracks & leaves a sandpaper like surface on your nail that not even extra buffing can get rid of, but with a couple coats of nail polish you can’t tell the difference! I will definitely continue to use this for nail splits & purchase again when I need more. (In the photo, I have used the product on my index & ring fingers.)
