This is my first time using a product like this, I normally do the teabag method. But, that hasn't be working for me as of late so I decided to try this. I have a horizontal split in the upper middle part of my thumbnail and it'll probably be a month before it grows high enough to cut the damage. I received this on October 28th and immediately applied it, it was very easy. I however, did not smooth it enough so it absorbed all the repairing base coat I applied on top. I couldn't hang with it so about 4 days later, I removed the polish and despite it saying use acetone to remove this product, it didn't. Which I'm glad because I just wanted to remove the base coat. I then used my efile to sand it down and make it smoother which worked. The file it comes with doesn't work and is hard to hold anyway. I am on day 7 and this hasn't budged and is (now) worn beautifully under my base coat. I think this kit will last a long time and I wish I had bought it sooner. Much easier than the teabag method as all you have to do is brush the glue on, quickly dip the nail, then I waited a minute or two to make sure the glue dried, then file it down to your liking. Not sure how much elbow grease is required to remove this with acetone, like i states, but my original plan is to just let it grow out with my nails. That's what I always did with the teabags.

GET OUT!!! This is a miracle product!!! Used it after I removed my acrylic nails, then painted my nails with my gel polish and cured as normal - WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! My nails are usually super flexible after removing acrylics and break super easily but this stuff has CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I am able to keep the length that I was trying to achieve with my acrylics and talk about STRONG!!! The video does NO justice! These nails do NOT flex at all! Super happy with this product!!!

When I was young my mom used to repair broken nails with a tiny piece of coffee filter and some crazy glue. Absolutely genius. I never got the hang of that technique though. I’ve tried stickers or just straight glue, neither work great. But it was hard for me to accept that nail repair technology hadn’t advanced over the years. Surely there are better options now?? Surely, given how popular expensive nail art and acrylics are! I was spending $180 every 6-8 weeks on my nails! I’m not just going to let a broken nail go! There must be a better option! There is! My nail artist used this powder stuff that worked great, so I decided to look for something similar I could use at home, and found this kit. It’s glue, powder, and a file, and it’s SO easy to use. Put on the glue with the nail polish applicator brush, dip your nail in the pot of powder, and wait for it to dry. Once it’s dry, use the file to smooth it all down. Boom! Done! So simple! It’s strong enough to hold until your nail grows out a bit, and doing another layer here and there is easy too. It’s exactly what I hoped existed! Works great!

I have a thumbnail that grows with a crack in it from the bottom of the nail bed to the nail tip. I’ve done acrylic nails on it and silk wraps.the acrylic nail looked good, but was painfull to get it off and replace. The silk wraps were better, but few manicurists do those now, plus I only wanted this one done. When Covid hit I grew them all out and started doing my own manicures and pedicures. Still struggled with this one nail though. To add to my misery not only did I have the crack down the middle, but also damaged the side of the nail with another crack, so one verticle crack, plus one horizontal crac on the same nail. Both cracks were on the nail bed itself, so no option to cut the nail any shorter. This kit worked well. Kept the nail together long enough to grow both cracks out so they could be cut off eventually. The coverage is a bit thick looking, but since it’s a thumbnail it doesn’t notice too much after a basecoat and polish. For my situation (which will be ongoing) I found this product well worth it. Recommend.

Im a person who's petty terrible at using the silk patches so this has been pretty great. I do struggle to get the finish semi smooth though. It generally feels like sand paper. My top coat does some heavy lifting with this.

This stuff works! I brushed on the glue, sprinkled on the powder, let it dry, buffed and repeated a second time. Strong hold, looks natural. Not sure yet about how it holds up with polish remover, but the repair is so easy, redoing it is no problem. UPDATE! The repair lasted for 6 weeks and six polish changes.

If you've been fumbling with tea bags to help your broken nails... STOP! You gotta try this out instead! One of my nails broke horribly in September and I kept spending sssoooooo looooong every few days redoing the teabags, it was annoying. I used Orly Nail Rescue on October 11th and it's been going strong all the way to today, December 15th. It's lasted through so many manis, just needing a little touch up a couple weeks ago, and I could not be any more ecstatic with the results! I'd absolutely recommend this kit. The physical product itself arrived in decent condition - the box had seen better days and was quite smashed, but the product inside was fine. I'm not sure if it's intended or not, but the bottle of glue doesn't have the normal stopper or neck you'd see on other glues that help block airflow, it's just a big ol' open hole. This led to a bit of a mess when my cat hopped onto my mani table and knocked the bottle over, but all was fine in the end. For anyone concerned, the glue comes approximately half full - you're not being ripped off! That's just the way it needs to be packaged due to the chemicals. Glues will usually always come that way but you'd never notice because that plastic neck makes it impossible to peek inside. Aaaanyway, super impressed with the results from Nail Rescue. If you're contemplating buying this, just give in and hit "Buy," you won't regret it!
