  • Great Product, Easy to Work With!
This is my first time using a product like this, I normally do the teabag method. But, that hasn't be working for me as of late so I decided to try this. I have a horizontal split in the upper middle part of my thumbnail and it'll probably be a month before it grows high enough to cut the damage. I received this on October 28th and immediately applied it, it was very easy. I however, did not smooth it enough so it absorbed all the repairing base coat I applied on top. I couldn't hang with it so about 4 days later, I removed the polish and despite it saying use acetone to remove this product, it didn't. Which I'm glad because I just wanted to remove the base coat. I then used my efile to sand it down and make it smoother which worked. The file it comes with doesn't work and is hard to hold anyway. I am on day 7 and this hasn't budged and is (now) worn beautifully under my base coat. I think this kit will last a long time and I wish I had bought it sooner. Much easier than the teabag method as all you have to do is brush the glue on, quickly dip the nail, then I waited a minute or two to make sure the glue dried, then file it down to your liking. Not sure how much elbow grease is required to remove this with acetone, like i states, but my original plan is to just let it grow out with my nails. That's what I always did with the teabags. ... show more

  • This stuff really works
Like a lot of people right now, I am suddenly (after 20 years) having to take care of my own nails. I had been wearing acrylics for years (which is worse than gel for what’s underneath) but either way when you take off acrylics or gel, you got a problem. Taking my acrylics off left me with thin, tender nails which were splitting painfully. This stuff is going to get me through. It is extremely easy to apply and creates a tough finish that gives you nails strong enough to grow out. I don’t know because I haven’t got to that point yet but I believe that, while tough, it is not so thick as to prevent your own nails coming back properly. Here are some tips. It says “apply over whole nail”. Do that. The first time I did it I thought it would be enough to just cover the tips that were split. That leaves you with an uneven surface, so yes, the whole nail is best. Don’t leave any time between applying the liquid and dipping into the powder. It dries immediately so do one nail completely at a time. Buff it well for a smooth finish. Don’t worry that you will make it too thin, you won’t. I didn’t buff enough the first time and the finish was rough. Don’t be tempted to “double dip”. I did 2 coats the first time and it was too thick. My nails were paper thin and split to the quick and I thought I would have to do two applications but I didn’t. One is enough, even for nails as damaged as mine. Don’t overpowder. Quick dip and you are done. It’s ready to buff immediately. I didn’t do all my nails, just the split ones and it strengthens without being so thick that they look mismatched. I hope all that helps. This stuff WILL get me to my own nails after 20 years of acrylics. It’s easy and effective. I don’t think you will be disappointed. ... show more

  • Life changing!
When I was young my mom used to repair broken nails with a tiny piece of coffee filter and some crazy glue. Absolutely genius. I never got the hang of that technique though. I’ve tried stickers or just straight glue, neither work great. But it was hard for me to accept that nail repair technology hadn’t advanced over the years. Surely there are better options now?? Surely, given how popular expensive nail art and acrylics are! I was spending $180 every 6-8 weeks on my nails! I’m not just going to let a broken nail go! There must be a better option! There is! My nail artist used this powder stuff that worked great, so I decided to look for something similar I could use at home, and found this kit. It’s glue, powder, and a file, and it’s SO easy to use. Put on the glue with the nail polish applicator brush, dip your nail in the pot of powder, and wait for it to dry. Once it’s dry, use the file to smooth it all down. Boom! Done! So simple! It’s strong enough to hold until your nail grows out a bit, and doing another layer here and there is easy too. It’s exactly what I hoped existed! Works great! ... show more

  • Repairs splitting nails
I bought this to treat splitting nails. Works fast and does not come off in water. Breaks away cleanly with a little appropriate force.

  • Helps for those with a damaged nail bed. Recommend.
This is an amazing product for someone who has a damaged nail bed. I had a chronically split nail that snags on everything even when short. I was able to grow out my my nail and apply polish for the first time in 6 months.

  • This stuff REALLY works! Three weeks and still going!
My nail had broken 3/4 of the way across and I didn’t want to cut it because that meant having to trim all my other nails and I’ve FINALLY gotten them all long (after wearing tips for 30+ years). So after wearing a bandaid until this arrived, I thought, what can it hurt, I’ll give this stuff a try. WOW! Spell it backwards WOW 😁 Here I am three weeks later and it’s still holding!! 📍I used 2-3 layers of this product, then after it dried, two coats of gel basecoat (I like Beetles brand), two coats of polish and then two coats of gel topcoat. All from home and saving myself tons of money too 😇 Highly recommend! Update: If you have fragile, thin nails and want them to grow, try using this on each nail prior to applying gel polish. Makes them HARD AS NAILS 🔨 😉 ... show more

Strengthens and repairs nails a bit better than just using glue.

  • Great for partial nail cracks & splitting! Great for partial nail cracks & splitting!
This is a fantastic product that works better than any other nail repair I’ve tried. When my nails get too long, they split on the sides, typically down into the nail bed, which is super painful. I applied this 3 weeks ago to 3 of my nails & they are all still intact, not having broken or split further. It does require a couple applications for more severe cracks & leaves a sandpaper like surface on your nail that not even extra buffing can get rid of, but with a couple coats of nail polish you can’t tell the difference! I will definitely continue to use this for nail splits & purchase again when I need more. (In the photo, I have used the product on my index & ring fingers.) ... show more
