Out of the box, was a just a bit tedious when it came to plugging things into the outlets. Maybe it's a security feature but the outlets seemed to be somewhat capped? Bought this on sale to replace a decade plus old Belkin surge protector. I've come to like APC products and this one fits the bill. I went from using all my plugs with no space for one to using both USB ports, and all but 3 plugs thanks to there being just enough spaced out outlets. I use this for my den for all my computer components and computer. I have no complaints so far and the back reads a clamping voltage of LN 330V LG 400V NG 400V. The lights aren't bright but make it easy to see it is working properly. I've thought about buying a second one but haven't only because I don't know where I'd use it. ... show more

    • How the hell do you mount it!?

I guess it will work fine but I’d sure like to know how your supposed to mount this thing! The top two mounting holes are 4 inches apart and the bottom two are 3 and 3/8” apart! Go figure! After turning my wall into a cribbage board, I got the top two screws into place. Forget the bottom two!

This is a solid surge protector. It has enough plugs for pretty much any personal use. The USB ports are a nice bonus for charging my wireless headset so I don't have to use a USB port on my computer. The LED lit power and surge protection indicators are nice and much better than the usual tiny red/green light most of these have. The one con is that the little covers to close each outlet don't really stay closed and are kinda flimsy. ... show more
