My Pit bull Terrier (Bully) is allergic to chicken. Bought the Blue Buffalo Health Bars because they are listed as not containing any chicken/poultry by-product meals. After feeding this to my Bully I read the ingredients information and found out the bars contain chicken meal. I will be returning these for a refund. ... show more

We are a Blue Buffalo Household with 4 cats and a puppy eating only Blue Buffalo dry food, wet food and treats so I really was anxious to try my puppy on the Blue Buffalo pumpkin cinnamon dog biscuits. I am an avid Amazon Shopper and this is my unsolicited unpaid review. The package arrived on time inside an amazon box. Sadly most of the biscuits arrived as broken bits and pieces. I was so disappointed. I do consider Blue Buffalo dog and cat foods as top quality products, so cant understand why this package was filled with broken bits and pieces. I am reluctant to purchase Blue Buffalo dog biscuits thru Amazon again. I am sure whomever placed the package inside the Amazon shipping box easily saw that the contents were all broken, so I am not understanding why they went ahead and shipped instead of retrieving a package of whole and mostly whole biscuits for me instead. I purchased this on August 5, 2017. The product arrived on August 7, 2017. All is well until I decided to open the package today to feed my kygo a treat only to discover one little problem. The product's about 4 years passed its "best by" date. Look at picture: it really is worth a thousand words. Some that come to mind are "vomiting" and "diarrhea". Because it has been months since I purchased the product it is outside their return window. So yay me. At least I found a solution to eradicating the rat population in my neighborhood. ... show more

    • Make Sure They Are The Size You Want

I have nothing but good things to say about this product, in general. I have been using these baked treats for years and they are perfect for my Belgian Malinois. However, I recently refilled my supply of them, using the Amazon ReOrder system and what I received was different from what I am used to getting. Instead of the individual biscuit being about two inches tall and an inch wide, these biscuits are about three-quarters of an inch square. In other words, they are much smaller than what I had been using. I am still deciding whether or not to return them. But the important thing to remember is that my order was exactly like all previous orders and, yet, I got a different product. My advice is to carefully scrutinize your order before you place it because it appears that Amazon is making some substitutions without notifying the customer. ... show more

This product is great and my dog loves these bars HOWEVER, this package arrived in a good sized box with not one bit of padding. This is a 16 ounce package and 5.7 ounces are crumbs and lots of dust. There is not one bar that is not damaged and 99% of what is not crumbs or dust is maybe half of the bar. This should have been shipped with better padding to protect the product. Much of this is going in the trash as I cannot feed crumbs and dust to a large dog. Good product...lousy packing and shipping and this one was shipped via UPS ... show more

Unfortunately, I really cannot give these a very good review. I have the pickiest rescued dog(I don’t blame him). Anyhow, we were given a bag of these Cinnamon & Pumpkin flavored HE LOVED THEM!!! Buying these at the Pet Store is like $20. So I found these here on Amazon and thought WOW what a great deal!!! Well when they arrived they came in a bubbled envelope (as if that was to protect them). Well, just about 50% of them were all broken up. They were hard not easily splittable as the first batch. And the most important thing my Gizmo, well he’s the picky one. He was excited when he saw the bag couldn’t wait for me to open it and when I offered him one he sniffed it several times stepped back sniffing again, barked at me and walked away. I tried giving the different flavored one and he did the same thing. So, I’m going to try and return these, if I cannot then I will donate. Buy my recommendation would be purchase at your own risk and request them in a box!! ... show more

    • Healthy dog cookies that taste good (according to my pooches)

My two dogs absolutely love these biscuits. While they may get an occasional treat during the day; they are firmly hooked on their bedtime cookie routine. Not a chance that I would be allowed to forget this special moment as far as they're concerned. My big shepherd is a huge fan of most cookies--rarely have I known him to turn down any type--but he does get more excited about these than he does most of the others. My little elderly terrier is particularly finicky about her choice of biscuits, though, and this is the only healthy hard biscuit type that she’ll eat. They're both particularly fond of the chicken/liver and the bacon/eggs ones. The size of these health bars works well for my large shepherd, but I break one in half for my small terrier. Each biscuit is approximately 2-inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and they're a little over 1/4 inch thick. I only buy high-quality, healthy snacks for our pooches. When I removed wheat and corn from their diet a few years ago, my little terrier got rid of her itchiness for the first time ever. No more feet chewing. It's great to find dog snacks like these that are full of healthy ingredients. Ingredients (chicken/liver variety): Oatmeal, Oat Flour, Barley, Rye, Chicken Meal, Chicken Liver, Flaxseed (source of Omega 3 and 6 Fatty Acids), Dried Egg, Chicken Fat (naturally preserved with Mixed Tocopherols and Citric acid), Carrots, Oat Fiber, Calcium Carbonate, Salt, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (source of Vitamin C), preserved with Mixed Tocopherols and Oil of Rosemary, Vitamin E Supplement.
