Just got this set up over the weekend with some help from a couple friends in exchange for beer and home grilled cookin. I must say we are super happy with it. We only had a concrete slab out back and were totally jealous of the neighbors schmancy back patios. Still jealous of the pool people with this heat though! This is a very premium neighborhood, outside of Nashville. We have 1 -2 million dollar homes in here, mine, the wife likes to joke we don't look like the people who do those people's yard work, but maybe the manager of those people's yard crews. Needless to say though, there is a pretty "robust" HOA in here, not a over reaching horror story HOA like you read about but still, so we were understandably worried about buying something like this from Amazon and failing the "architectural review" that you have to submit before putting up and permanent structures on your property. We ended up having no problems at all and even had a neighbor stop by and ask us where we got it. We are lovin this, it has completely transformed the backyard experience for us. Would absolutely buy this again!

You will need two ladders One 8 ft ladder & another at a minimum 6 ft ladder. The tools that came with it are not adequate . You will need battery operated hand drills, drill bits & socket wrenches. Also, you will need screw drivers. You will need at least two men to do the job & heavy lifting. Assembly was very time consuming because of all the screws, bolts & parts! The beams were not as big as the website showed. After the job was completed, the black tin roof was very hot to sit under. Wish the roof was a light color. I had an outdoor Fanimation EightyFour Ceiling Fan installed, but it was still too hot to sit under. The fan is remote controlled & the air flow can be counterclockwise The fan light has a dimmer which helps w bug control after sundown. To make the sitting area cooler, I helped my brother-in-law & sis put a plastic canopy cover over the black tin roof. That helped, along with the fan during sunlight hours, to keep cooler. I have included a video showing the manual, too. I hope this review helps someone.

First off this is a great gazebo. This size fit our area just as we had planned. Delivery was pretty quick; it did arrive in two shipments. Nothing damaged and ALL the parts were included. I will say that we hired someone to assemble this unit. We have gotten to the age where some things are better put together by younger and stronger people. I did watch the process, and it was a challenge. This says it's 12x20, but the actual width and length are different. It took a few tries to get the legs set at the proper dimensions. Once that was established assembly wasn't too bad. My crew were two men, and it did take maybe a total of 15 hours over the course of three days. We live on the Texas coast, and it does get really windy at times, so far, it's still standing and nothing has blown off. It provides great shade and we love it. I have hung hummingbird feeders from it and its fun watching them while enjoying the shade. This has been a great addition to our back yard.

LOTS OF SMALL PARTS...DRINKING HELPS WITH INSTALLATION

The gazebo looks nice once assembled, but putting it together was much more difficult and time-consuming than expected. It took about 15 hours, and I had to hire someone to assemble it. My biggest concern is the sturdiness. The roof does not feel as sturdy as I expected, and the screws provided to secure the gazebo to the ground were too small. We did not feel comfortable relying on them, so we had to purchase stronger bolts from Home Depot to secure it properly. For the price, I expected better-quality hardware and a sturdier finished product

Be fore warned, there were NO instruction manual within any of the boxes. Had to search YouTube for instructions. Luckily it was on there. So just be ready to also drill pilot holes cause they are either not in the proper place or not also you can’t reach anyone by phone at the company.

Great pergola for our deck! Directions for putting together is just pictures though, so there was some guess work with installation.
