Great Intake Upgrade With Noticeable Turbo Sound
This intake ended up being a surprisingly nice upgrade for the MK6 GTI platform, especially considering the price point. Right away the biggest difference was the sound. The turbo noises become much more noticeable without crossing into obnoxious territory, and the induction sound under acceleration gives the car a much more aggressive personality. Fitment on my Gen2 EA888 setup was better than expected overall. Everything lined up properly and the included couplers and clamps felt decent quality instead of the flimsy hardware some budget intake kits include. Installation took around an hour taking my time, and I didn’t run into any major headaches besides needing to slightly reposition one clamp for clearance. Performance-wise, throttle response feels a little sharper and the engine seems to breathe more freely at higher RPM. I’m not claiming massive horsepower gains from a simple intake, but the car definitely feels more lively during spirited driving. The intake pipe finish also looks clean in the engine bay and gives things a more polished aftermarket appearance. One recommendation is double-checking all clamps after a few heat cycles because silicone couplers tend to settle slightly after initial installation. Overall this is a very solid intake kit for MK6 GTI owners wanting better sound, cleaner engine bay aesthetics, and a slightly more responsive driving experience without spending ridiculous money.

PCV vacuum tube does not fit
The hole for the pcv valve vacuum tube is way too small and the mounting bracket is off by an inch. Very poor quality control

DO NOT BUY I REPEAT DO NOT BUY, i recently bought this POS product says it fit my car but the measurements were completely off I didn’t even get to install it because it wouldn’t fit the quality was good but that’s the only good thing about this product other than that it’s a POS product and the measurements are off and they lie about it fitting your car

Great quality
This is the perfect cold air intake kit for my husband's golf! He had been wanting to put one of these on there so as soon as we saw this when we had to scoop it up. This came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described even down to the measurements so it all fit as expected and matched up. Very well made very heavy duty great quality and he said the instillation was very simple and straightforward if you know what you are doing. All you have to do is take it step by step and you're good to go! Truly no complaints! He loves the way it sounds and is now! Amazing product and definitely worth every penny! Solid 10 out of 10

Nice Upgrade for a More Aggressive Intake Sound
I picked this up for my husband’s MK6 GTI, and he was excited to give it a try. The kit looks good right out of the box, with a clean finish and sturdy construction. The components appear well made, and the filter, heat shield, and intake tubing all fit together nicely. One of the biggest things he noticed was the improved induction sound. It gives the car a more aggressive and sporty feel without being over the top. The fit was designed specifically for the MK6 GTI, and the overall size and layout worked well in the engine bay. The materials feel durable and capable of holding up to regular driving conditions.

Great quality.
I ordered this intake to improve the airflow and a more aggressive sound from my MK6 GTI without doing any major engine mods. When I unboxed it, my first impression was how solid the aluminum tubing and filter felt, and the finish looked clean under the hood. Installation was straightforward with basic tools, and everything lined up correctly with the EA888 Gen2 engine. Once installed, the throttle response felt sharper and the turbo spool became noticeably louder in a really satisfying way. What I like most is the sporty induction sound plus, it gives the car a more exciting character every time I accelerate. For the price, it’s a fun upgrade that adds both performance and personality to the GTI. Fit well and the airflow is great.

Improved power
The intake kit gave the engine bay a cleaner, sportier look once installed. Everything fit together reasonably well and the engine sounded a little throatier afterward too. Good project piece for somebody wanting to freshen up their setup without spending a fortune.
