I use it as a dog camera and it works super well. Picture quality is good and I love the different functions it offers. They have an online cloud storage that you can buy but I just put an SD card in and it records when it detects motion, that I can view from the app. It was easy to setup.

After bringing home two new kittens i wanted to keep an eye on them while i was at work. this camera is great! good quality, tracks movement, night vision, and cloud storage. the only disappointment i have is i did not realize that you had to pay a monthly subscription for the storage if you do not have a memory card for it (it does not come with one). you can still watch live - but to look back on previous footage from an earlier time - you have to pay for it (after the free trial). overall happy with my purchase ... show more

Very happy with this camera so far! It actually has more features than I anticipated. We live in an RV in a warm climate and my concern is being able to monitor the temperature while we are gone during the day in warm weather as we have a dog. The range of motion in the camera is awesome to pan around and be able to check on our dog and our thermostat throughout the day. Easy to place on a flat surface or install on a ceiling or cabinet. Bonus features are calling from the camera and also being able to hear audio inside our space as well as the ability to talk through the camera (I was already able to catch and correct my dog in the act of lounging on our table). The first inside camera I received would not read it's own QR code to connect to WIFI . Call customer service and got a quick response. They worked with me to try to solve the problem. They where very patient with me and walked me threw the whole process but was unable to fix the problem. Oasu, in return set me another camera asap and this one is operating like it should. Now the camera works exceptional great. It is very sensitive to any movement and has a very sharp picture. The camera is really easy to set up, theirs not much to it for someone like me that doesn't have a great deal of electronic skills. Now for the little money you spend on this camera you would think you wouldn't be getting much but you would be wrong. It is well worth the small price for what you are getting. You want be sorry if you get one , it does what is advertised. This is not the only oasu camera that I own, I four of their outside cameras that are really good. Both of my sons are running osau security systems and have not had any problem to date. ... show more

    • Great camera - but one critical flaw - will not reset after power outage

AOSU offers a great security camera system - I have both the indoor house powered cameras and also an outdoor solar camera. They are loaded with features lacking in the Yami brand products I tried and do not require a monthly fee to store motion detection video clips. I learned that the AOSU cameras cannot detect outside motion through a window - you have to put the camera outside to detect outside motion. I also have learne there is one crtical flaw and that is that the cameras cannot automatically reset after power outages. I am frequently away from home and we have frequent power interruptions here in Mexico. You have to be physically next to the camera to "re-program" the camera after extended power losses. My Yami cameras did not require this effort - they regained operation without hands-on effort but these AOSU cameras are useless if you are away and there is a power outage at the point of use. ... show more
