I did some research on the best type of garden hose and then I read the reviews on this one. I was impressed and ordered one. I love it! It is lightweight, easy to use, and easy to roll up. Time will tell if it lives up to the claim that it will last a long time - I hope so!

The Hose is the strangest looking thing I’ve ever seen but I met a man at Home Depot when I was looking for a hose one day and he showed me the one he ordered online and he said he wouldn’t have anything else it was the best Hose he ever owned. So far I like the way I can pull it out and it just goes with me right across the grass. The last one I got was the stretchy hose, my neighbor told me he had one and it fell apart on him and he never wanted to do that again, I was hoping I would have a different outcome but NO! It did fall apart in less than a year. I feel like I’m going to be really happy With this steel hose, and Hope it lasts. I’ll update in a year and let you know if it made it through.

(Item: Aokia Metal Garden Hose - 100 FT Stainless Steel Water Hose with Kink Free, Flexible, Durable, Ultra Lightweight, Crush Resistant Fitting, Easy to Coil, Puncture Proof Hose for Outdoors, Yard, Rv ) This hose was a bit heavier than I had expected (and I love that)! At this price point ($41 at the time of the review), I was anticipating a cheaply made, thin, metal hose. I was surprised and happy when taking it out of the box. You do have to coil it up/reel it in when done with it (as opposed to retractible hoses that shrink up after expelling the water from them). But I don't have worries about leaving this one in the sun day in and day out. Something that I wasn't able to do with a retractible hose. Water pressure is good but not great. I'm only using it to wash my car and water plants so, it's totally fine for that. If anything, I would categorize the water flow as normal and, not bad at all. And I love the 100ft length. The asphalt where I park my car is a little rough so, it was wreaking havoc to my retractible hose. This was a much-needed change. Overall, much more durable than I was anticipating. I'll update with any longevity issues (leaking, crimping, etc). But currently, I could recommend this product for consideration.

I love how lightweight the hose is as well as the ease with which it is moved. That being said, it has several areas where the metal casing is crushed. No automobiles have ever driven over it, so I can only guess that the crushed areas are from stepping on the hose. I purchased it for the durability and not having to be as concerned with leaking (which so far it has performed well in this regard)...that being said, the crushed metal areas are causing a restriction in water flow.
