    • Perfect starter ukulele
Color: Black Size: Concert
I am a beginner who picked this up to try to learn some nursery rhymes for my kindergarten classroom. I have an electronic drum set that is this brand so I was happy to purchase this because I am satisfied with the drums. So far, I've been practicing chords and I am in love with this ukulele. It is easy to tune, looks attractive, and comes with a great gig bag, nice little starter kit that includes another set of strings and several picks. I did take away a star because it also comes with a strap that I have deemed pretty useless. The instrument has 2 places to fasten a proper strap. The strap that is included doesn't work on those. It has a plastic clip that, as far as I can tell, loosely slides in the center hole and the strap goes around the neck. I suppose it's meant to offer some support as you hold it but I don't trust it and it's not comfortable so I prefer to not use it at all. So far, I only play a few minutes at a time but will probably explore a proper strap in the future if I accomplish my goal and am able to take it in the classroom. I also mentioned how attractive it looks. I like the black finish, and my guitar playing husband was impressed by how it is solid sapele wood. He keeps telling me once I get good, he's going to get me a fancy one from his favorite guitar maker, but I'm absolutely happy with this one. I also like the instrument's playability. I'm a complete novice and quickly and independently learned how to tune it and am practicing a few basic chords. It is really fun! ... show more

    • Ukulele!
Color: Black Size: Concert
I'm not super musical, but really wish I was. Ukulele is supposed to be one of the simpler instruments to learn, so I was happy to find this AODSK ukulele especially for beginners. My ear is far from trained, but it certainly sounds good to me. The black finish is simple and pretty. At $50, it certainly sits at a beginner's price. It also comes with a carrying bag, strap, and extra strings and picks, making it a one-stop purchase for a novice like me. I've been sitting down with some tutorials and practicing, and I am definitely getting better little by little. All in all, this was a great. ... show more

    • Perfect Beginner Ukulele – Excellent Value for the Price!
Color: Black Size: Concert
I'm extremely happy with this ukulele! As a beginner, I was looking for something affordable that still sounded good, and this AODSK concert ukulele exceeded my expectations. The black sapele finish looks beautiful and gives it a much more premium appearance than I expected for the price. The sound is warm, clear, and surprisingly rich once the strings settle in. It's comfortable to hold, stays in tune well after a short break-in period, and the concert size is perfect for both adults and older kids. I also love that it comes with everything needed to get started right away, including a gig bag, strap, extra strings, and picks. The accessories make it an excellent value and a great gift option. Overall, this is a fantastic beginner ukulele that looks great, sounds great, and includes everything you need to start playing. Highly recommended! ... show more

    • Good Playing Ukulele With A Poor Black Finish
Color: Black Size: Concert
This 23" concert ukulele is built well, with a straight neck, properly finished frets, and good playability. It sounds clear, stays in tune, and works well for beginners or casual players. The concert size is comfortable to hold, and the included gig bag, strap, extra strings, and picks make it a complete starter package. The main problem is the black finish, which has dull spots that look like glue trapped under the paint or residue left on top of it. The finish issue does not affect the sound or playability, but it makes the instrument look cheaper than it otherwise would. For under $50, the construction, sound, tuning stability, and included accessories still make it a great deal. ... show more

I set up this 23 Inch Concert Ukulele for Beginners in Black Sapele with the included gig bag strap strings and picks as a replacement. The quality stands out with good durability that holds up well during regular practice sessions and handling. Ease of installation went smoothly when putting on the strings and the fit of all components felt right. Appearance looks sharp and stylish in the black finish while the match to what I needed is excellent. Functionality plays consistently well with stable and smooth tone production. Compatibility works perfectly for standard playing styles and supports reliable use. Quiet operation with no noises comes through clearly with clean sound and no buzzing even at higher volumes. Value for money is evident from the complete package and solid build. This replacement has delivered dependable performance overall. ... show more
