The media could not be loaded. Well i did not liked that the box had a big hole in it, like if they used that to hold it/carry it from there. I did took pics. They always send a pic when it's delivered and this time they didnt. So, when I opened it, it seems all right. I also didnt like that the two 'burners' are small and the same size, that was my fault cause I thought they were bigger, my larger pans wont fit and that is actually what I use the most. I put on a pan and it heated up right away. But the fan took a couple of minutes to stop and they are kind of loud. I will see how it work later when I cook dinner and decide if I'm going to keep it or return it for something bigger. It's not the noise for me cause I think is good that the fans are working longer but it's the burners size that I think will be an issue. But for the price is good. ... show more

The size and weight of this cooker make it perfect for camping and in house usage. It does not take much room for storage. A full charge of my battery in my van can support cooking one lunch and one dinner. When I am in camping site, I can use the outlet, charging my battery. Now it gets colder, I turn it on and let it warm my van for a while at night. Much safer and cleaner than gas burners. In my house, I use it as a backup for my range. I liked the ease of use, the look of the cooktop, the size of the burners, and the placement of the controls. I would like more adjustability on the temperatures . The 200 degree jumps are to much and you can't adjust in between. For frying this is critical as is braising. I will live with it as an extra unit for the outside kitchen, but I am looking for a more precise temperature control for the next unit! It offers Celcius as well as farenheit. The total wattage needs to average between the burners so you don't trip a breaker! Say for instance, 1600 watts on the left burner , and 200 on the right burner to simmer or keep warm. ... show more

Since most parks no longer allow open flames for cooking while camping, this has been an acceptable alternative. Love the fact that the power setting can be as low as 200W for each unit. This makes using an inexpensive Power Bank an acceptable alternative. Having this low setting also makes it easier to fry eggs etc. Having a dual unit set up allows for cooking two different items at the same time. The keep warm feature is a big plus. If using the keep warm feature you will drain your power bank. That is wattage that could have been used for future cooking if you are doing multiple day camping. Since the unit is still brand new, no word on durability. It is light and appears to be well made. Will update if there are unwarranted failures. ... show more

After a few episodes of gas leaking, I designed to change a electric stove for my tenant. At first they want a full electric stove because she is afraid of the safety of the portable counter top, but then I need to rewired the electrical lines for the stove. It is very costly. My friend recommended this to me. It has timer and the safety feature. My tenant likes it. The setting is a bit complicated. You will need to study the manual before using it. This cooktop is very fast to heat up, and it's more efficient than the portable gas top I was using. It looks nice, is easy to clean, and I like the safety feature that it shuts off if no pan is detected. The buttons are very sensitive. I did have to get a replacement because the first one came damaged, I think something happened during shipping the box was dinged up. As you can probably tell by my one line review, I get pretty excited by awesome kitchen appliances... and this one is Awesome!! Full disclosure, I was looking for a double burner one but after 2 days of searching I was burned out. Luckily I waited because I hit the black Friday sale and this popped up for a ridiculously low price. Oh happy day!! So I bought 2 of them for a lot less than I would have spent on a double burner one, plus, I can crank them both to max heating power. Winner winner chicken dinner! Now let me tell you about the actual induction cooktop. I LOVE IT!!! I can't believe I waited so long to buy one! I'm used to cooking with gas and for sure this is just as comparable. Amazing 👏 My friend and I jaws dropped when we had boiling water within a minute or two. You barely put the pot on and you can see the tiny bubbles forming... it's so cool. As others have said, it comes with an instruction booklet, and yes, it's hard to understand. The cooktop is pretty simple. There is 2 cooking modes, one in watts and one in tempature. There's a - and a + to increase or decrease the watts or tempature and a power on/ off button, that's it. Just play around for a minute then you're good to go (but always have something on the burner when playing with the controls) It also has a child lock feature for the Littles. It comes with a built in fan that blows the heat towards the rear, and the fan will continue to blow after you shut the cooktop off for about 2 minutes to cool the unit down internally. The unit itself does not get hot at all to the touch except where your cookware touches the cooktop. Even then, it's not hot enough to cause a burn or anything like that, it's just extra warm... but you can literally run your hand all over the whole unit, cooktop included (up to where your pot or pan is sitting) and its cool to the touch. The unit is very light weight but sturdy. You will need magnetic cookware!! Hence the picture I posted with my review. I bought that frying pan specifically for the induction cooktop and wrote a review on it, so why not use the same picture for the cooktop review. If your not sure your cookware will work with induction, take a magnet and if it sticks to the bottom, your good to go. If not, you'll need new magnetic pots and pans. Cast iron will work, but be careful of the size and weight of the pieces. In all honesty I really do love this cooktop! I haven't had it for very long though, so I'm hopeful it will last a good long time. I'm kind of old fashioned and believe in quality and products lasting. If it does its a 10/ 10. One more tip... I found using a product like Awesome All Purpose Cleaner and paper towel worked WAY better in cleaning and leaving a streak free cooktop than using my Dawn dish water and sponge did, by far. ... show more
