  • DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE PURCHASING
Well, none of the "Rater Features" pertains to this preoduct. The unit DOES what it says it does, but it really missed a lot of IMPORTANT features that could EASILY have been added into the unit. First off, the cons: 1: This thing is huge. A lot of pointless space I feel is wasted in this machine. This thing is larger than my GK2. So needing the space for not just the machine but extra containers for it is a need. 2: This does not do wash only, this does wash and cure in one shot. Making difficulty removing supports after the cure, or having to remove the supports before the whole wash and cure process. 3: I feel that the second rinse after the curing process is a wastefull process, in my opinion. 4: This does not thoroughly wash the resin from within if you are printing hollow prints. This makes a serious issue leaving resin build up drips from the model when you think this is done. 5: The lid is too dark. I would like to see what it's doing from time to time when it's doing it's thing. 6: There are other bad factors within this product that other content creators have mention in their videos. PROS: 1: Large area. But to be honest, not sure exaclty how large a print you can actually wash as I can't tell if the sparys are spraying straight out, or of the spray stream just arcs down onto the model. 2: Has a nice filtering process for your "detergent" to be reused. And that's probably the only PRO really worth mentioning. 3: It does have a cure only process. ... show more

  • Product arrived damaged but useable, Updated Review
When unboxing the product I discovered a shard of white plastic under several of the items wrapped inside. Later I learned that the shard of plastic belongs to my basket. The machine and basket operate despite the broken piece. The basket is made from a weak plastic which is probably why it was broken upon arrival since most of the other pieces were on top of it. The auto function has not successfully cured my 3d prints. I always have to wait for them to dry after the auto run and then run the cure process to finish them. Overall, the wash and cure still saves time compared to hand washing and curing in the sun. If you live in a cloudy region like the Northwest, having a uv cure function on a machine beats setting 3d prints outside or in the window. Edit: Anycubic did refund an amount roughly equivalent to the price of the basket about a week after my initial review. However, I don't print that much do to a lack of time and haven't needed to use the machine hardly at all. That said, on my fourth use of the machine, the l-shaped connector #3 on the back for draining out the detergent failed and poured detergent (IPA 95%) all over my table, carpet and wall. The machine continued to leak from the L-shaped connector for a few hours after the initial failure. Unfortunately. I entered the room at the end of the disaster and wasn't able to prevent my room from being soaked. I have included a picture of the leaking connector. The leak continued after following the guide for ensuring the pipes were connected properly. I reached out to Anycubic support five days ago and have only gotten an automated response. Given the machine failed during the fourth use and Anycubic's lack of support, I would not recommend this product. ... show more

  • 3d printing washing machine
I am stoked about this machine! It is everything I have been looking for since I bought my Jupiter. It cuts down on the smell and alcohol loss from scrubbing over a trash can and I couldn’t believe it’s totally automatic! Honestly I have only seen two downsides, one is that it does feed a lot of water through to “purge the unit” after the alcohol bath. It would have been nice if they had found a way to only use alcohol and cure and filter it so there wasn’t a lot of refill and drain. Second is the size. The unit is bigger than some appliances and even bigger than a Saturn or Mono X granted it will wash and cure models from a Jupiter, M3 Max, or even a phenom printer, so not much of a complaint. ... show more

  • no longer drains 2 months later, previously on the rare occassions it doesnt clog it works "ok"
let me prefeace this with I clean the machien after every use. above and beyond the recomendations. 95% of the time the machien clogs adn i have to "unclog it" this is generally me removing the 2 mesh screens checking them for anything that washed into them theres generally nothing, and then resuming the machine. Yesterday it stopped drainging at all even if it doesnt put up a clog error. I can hear the pump running or attempting to. I have contacted support today and will update this if there is a positive outcome, I am not hopeful based on my past experiences with their support. Theres another major flaw that the machine has which is it does absolutely nothign for the inside of hollow models they will come out oozing uncured resin through the drain holes, so you have to have a seperate means of washign the inside of larger holowed pieces prior to putting them in this so you dont how blobls of uncured resin collecting and curing in the machine. as someone who sells large models that are hollowed regularly this is pretty major that it doesnt do this. update: after anycubic reached out to me almost immediately after the review posted (funny that the email days before didnt get a reply by this time.) they told me they couldnt do anythign and i had to go through amazon. amazon sent me a new one that works better. the hollow model issue is still an issue. ... show more

  • I’m returning it
So I’m just a few weeks in and the turntable on my unit is already not working. Meaning that there is no way to rotate the models when it is cleaning or curing. That is the reason I’m returning it, but I’m not getting another for two big reasons. There is no Wash Only cycle. So if I wanted to use the unit to wash my resin vat it would run through a cure cycle as well. Any resin it might miss it is hardening into a mess. But I guess don’t worry about that so much because the resin vat for the M3 Max doesn’t even fit… thats right you cant put that vat in here for cleaning and shut the lid… I might have kept it and learned to live with it’s issues but since it has already crapped out on me it’s time for something better. ... show more
