Size: A1 Combo + LED Kit
I've only had the printer for three weeks and it's been great. Setup takes much longer than they advertise but I was also being cautious and wanted to see how everything worked. The operations of this is pretty amazing as you are able to completely control the thing through the app on your phone. The first two weeks I had it all I did was browse community models in the app with my 7 year old and print out a few things that we thought were cool or random things that I found that were convenient for household things. By the third week I opened the full Bambu Studios to mess around with existing designs and it was fairly easy to figure out for scaling or adding small things like text to a plaque. I haven't done a design from scratch yet but plan on exploring that in the near future. Overall this thing is amazing and getting the AMS combo is well worth it so that you aren't wasting time changing out colors frequently or being stuck doing only single color models. I'm hoping it holds up over time and is easy to fix when issues arise.

Should have done this a long time ago. What a great little 3D printer. I have a resin printer from years ago (sucks) and a more modern similar printer to this style. This Bambu kills the other printer in terms of looks, speed, ease of use, and print quality. I love browsing things to print, finding something, and then printing it out. All from my phone (there are computer applications as well). It has an onboard camera that I can watch in realtime or it can also do those cool time lapse videos as well. The print quality is awesome. I have made a ton of prints early on in my ownership and nothing has come out wonky. I did purchase the AMS system so I can have 4 different colors ready to go and that is a timesaver as well. You do NOT need the RF chipped spools, but they can help speed things up just a hair. I use PLA from multiple brands and they all work well. I had some spools that the center was too large for the AMS, so I just found the adapters in the Bambu app and boom! I can now use them all. Easy peasy. It can be a little noisy printing, but not terribly so. I had it on my dining table for a spell and barely noticed. It is now in my basement where I can't hear anything. Don't worry though, the app will alert you to when the printing is completed. As I was writing this, it also alerted me of a spool error while printing. That is nice as well. Two things I didn't like: The directions to put this together (maybe about 30 minutes if you take your time) are great. The directions on anything related to running the unit...non-existent. HOwever, it isn't too hard to figure out, although I do have some experience in 3D printing. The other issue? They give you only a few strands of filament to get started. Phooey on them! I was fortunate to have a bunch of filament on hand so I was able to start printing right away. Maybe pack in 4 "starter" spools to get you going (they did include a lighting kit for some odd reason). When (not if) you order this unit, my suggestion is to order a black, a gray, a red, and a blue spool. I also like white and a dark green. If you order this and no spools, you will be HIGHLY disappointed. Overall, this unit ROCKS and I have already become much better organized (loving the monitor shelf, with 3 or 4 more to print).

Works super good, prints come out great when calibrated. Was dreading at first when I saw that I had to put it together, but it turned out to be super easy. Screw locations were color coded, bolts and screws had labeling on where they go. No guess work. Overall satisfying and easy to put together for my first 3d printer. Was also a decent size, not too big for a table or desk but enough to make whatever you want. As a beginner I would recommend this to anyone starting out.

I already have a 3D printer (Prusa MK4aS / MMU3) and have had virtually no issues and great customer service. I purchased a Bambi Lab A1 to print more items and try something different. Assembly was straightforward. Powered up immediately ran into an issue with the control screen. Would not allow me to change language to English. Top left corner of screen was inoperable. Googled issue and followed all suggested steps to fix issue. No change. Contacted Bambu Lab ( AI customer service) and was instructed to do the same things. No change. Attempted to request a replacement screen and was informed I would have to file a warranty claim with the reseller (Amazon) I purchased it from. I’m not willing to jump through hoops to get a company to make good on their product. It’s already packaged up and on its way back. Will be looking for a better company.

The printer itself is amazing and easy to use. Just be advised that the spools and the filament in the picture DOES NOT come with it and you will have to buy those separately. When I reached out asking about this twice I still have never gotten a reply.

After a frustrating experience with Anycubic customer support on a failed new printer, I decided to switch to the Bambu Lab A1, and the difference in overall experience has been significant. With Anycubic, I ran into a situation where my brand-new printer failed shortly after purchase. Support asked if I was comfortable repairing it myself, and when I said I was not, the process became slow and unclear. Communication was limited to once-per-day email replies, and over the course of about a week I received mostly generic responses without clear resolution or action toward a return or replacement. That experience left me disappointed not only in the product failure, but in the lack of follow-through and clarity in the support process. Switching to the Bambu Lab A1, what stood out immediately was the overall polish of the system, documentation, and user experience. Setup was straightforward, printing quality has been consistent, and the ecosystem feels more cohesive and mature. While it may cost a bit more than entry-level competitors, the difference in reliability and company reputation is noticeable. Based on my personal experience, I now value paying a bit more for a product backed by a support system that feels more structured and responsive. In my case, I would choose Bambu Lab again over my previous experience. This is just my personal experience, but for anyone weighing options, support quality is something worth factoring in heavily alongside print quality and price.

So far I'm loving this machine. I dont often write a review but I can't help but mention that this is the coolest purchase ever and I love this. They even included a little project with the lamp light. The handy app is awesome and easy to use since I'm just getting started. But I'm learning to use the Studio application. Highly recommend this printer for anyone wanting to try this. It's addicting and talk about a serotonin boost when you get to use the print everyday.
