This is a fantastic machine! In the not quite month I have had this printer, I've put just under 265 hours into it. Filaments used have ranged from your typical stuff like PLA and PETG to TPU. in all that time with all those filaments, I have had exactly *one* failure and it was completely my fault. From the fit and finish to the print quality the Kobra X punches well above its weight class. The design language is sleek, giving it an almost appliance-like look that looks very sharp in my little home office. The touch screen / menu system is one of the best I've used, with the screen itself being quick and responsive to touch and the menu system by far being one of the easiest to navigate. Regarding print jobs, I have had zero adhesion issues, zero clogging issues, and zero spaghetti issues. The print quality has been very solid from filament to filament, with only a stone PLA giving any issues with some significant instances of layer lines in a few places. The vast majority of my prints have come out quality, with some of my favorites being functional PETG prints for my disc golf bag and cart (pictured below - a disc organizer rack for my bag). The Gen 2 ACE system is an absolute beast, with color changes being quick and easy. The long and short of it - if you're new to 3D printing, I would start here. This has been the easiest printer to work with since I've started my 3D printing journey and I sincerely wish that this could have been where I started. It's reliable out of the box, easy to set-up, and honestly gets me excited to print. I haven't had the anxiety of looming failure that I've had with other bedslinger-style units and that speaks volumes for how good this printer is.

I bought this printer to replace my old Ender 3. Assembly was easy and instructions were clear, but they did have a few petty errors. For example, the plastic covers at the base of the vertical towers should say slide into place instead of press into place. I have only been able to run the printer using a cellphone app, not a computer, but this does not bother me so I have not researched this further. At one point, a scary error code popped up on the screen, but I looked up the code online, and found that a specific connector had not been fully plugged in. I especially liked the little arrow stickers on the machine that corresponded to specific steps in the instruction booklet. I have been using this machine for about a week, and so far it has done everything that was advertised. I am getting used to the new software, but it is very intuitive if you have used other machines. It is fun watching it print in multiple colors, and shoot tiny waste blobs a foot across the room. I am using the 0.4 extruder nozzle that was included, and it has about the same resolution as my old Ender 3, which had smaller extruder and better software settings. I expect the resolution for tiny prints to improve after I figure out the settings and order a 0.2 extruder. The machine is very quiet and does not get hot underneath. It is self leveling. Changing filament is very easy. I have used PLA and PLA Silk without clogging or problems. Some of my older filament broke inside the Bowden tube, and it was very easy to remove the tube to get out the broken filament, no tools or disassembling the entire machine was needed. Unlike my older Ender 3, which I was constantly repairing, leveling, and troubleshooting, it is so nice to have a 3D printer that just WORKS. Plug it in. Import Thingiverse (or my own) .stl files to the Anycubic computer software to slice. I move files from the computer to my Anycubic cellphone app using Google Drive. Then pick a color, and press print. DONE! No leveling. No fighting the machine! No glue sticks and tape on the awesome flexible (removeable) magnetic bed plate! Even if I do not often make multi-color prints, I still enjoy having four colors loaded. I can print the same one color print in different colors without loading and unloading colors between prints.

My Ender 3 finally gave out, so I started looking for a replacement. I absolutely loved my Ender 3, but this time I wanted to upgrade to a multi-color printer. At first, I was a little hesitant because the price of this printer was so much lower than comparable models. After using it, I can honestly say I'm so glad I decided to buy it. Setup was incredibly easy, and the menus are intuitive and very well designed. The print speed is unbelievable—it absolutely blows my mind how fast this printer is compared to what I was used to. The print quality has been excellent, and the multi-color printing works great. I would highly recommend this printer to beginners because of how easy it is to set up and use, but it's also an excellent choice for experienced users looking for a fast, reliable printer at an outstanding price. It exceeded my expectations in every way.

Update: Dont buy from Amazon. UPS and Amazon combination just tried to fool you. Every associate tells different thing and don’t even try to solve the problem. They just leave the chat and direct to another associate. UPS comes and leaves without picking up. Because they even bother to grab the box. This product does not have even an IP !!! I am returning it. The software does not work properly and connect the WiFi. No matter what you do (factory settings), you can not see any username and password sections. You just guess. And there is no IP appearing on the machine,too. I even did not bother to finish print. I have bambu, flashforge and wanted to give it a shot. However there is a reason why it this technology is cheap. Good thinking bad execution.

The Anycubic Kobra X has completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I opened the box, it was clear this printer was designed with both beginners and experienced makers in mind. Setup was surprisingly simple and straightforward, and I was up and printing much faster than expected. The print quality is outstanding. Details come out crisp and clean, layers look smooth, and the machine handles prints consistently even at impressive speeds. The 600mm/s fast printing capability is genuinely impressive and saves a huge amount of time without sacrificing quality. The multicolor printing feature is absolutely incredible and easily one of the most fun aspects of this printer. Being able to create vibrant multi-color models without constant manual filament swapping feels like a huge leap forward for hobby printing. The color transitions look fantastic, and it opens up so many creative possibilities for toys, cosplay items, game pieces, decorations, prototypes, and display models. Another standout feature is how quiet this printer is. Compared to many other FDM printers, the noise level is dramatically lower, making it much more comfortable to run in a home office, classroom, or shared living space. The AI camera is also a fantastic addition for monitoring prints remotely and adds an extra level of confidence during long print jobs. What really impresses me most is how approachable this printer feels. It’s beginner-friendly enough for families and kids getting into 3D printing while still offering the performance and features that experienced makers and professionals will appreciate. The build volume, speed, reliability, and multicolor capabilities make this machine feel like an incredible value. I’m about 12 prints in, ranging from simple to surprisingly complex, and the Kobra X has handled every single one flawlessly. For a beginner, that kind of reliability builds confidence fast — and the print quality has genuinely surprised me. I didn’t expect results this good this early. The finished prints look excellent, bed adhesion has been solid throughout, and I haven’t had a single issue there. What’s made it even better is sharing it with my kids. Picking things to print together has been a lot of fun, and the fact that the printer just works — no fussing, no troubleshooting — means we spend our time enjoying it rather than fighting it. Setup was straightforward and the instructions were clear, so we were up and printing quickly without any frustration. The ecosystem is what really won me over beyond the hardware itself. The integration between the desktop slicer, the app, and Anycubic’s cloud is seamless — you can search for models on the desktop, send them straight to the slicer, and upload directly to the printer via the cloud. It just works, and it works the way you’d hope it would. At a time when some competitors are locking down their software and creating friction for users, Anycubic feels refreshingly open. I’ve thrown everything at it and haven’t hit a compatibility wall yet. That matters. The multi-color capability at this price point was the real deciding factor for me. I knew that if I bought a single-color machine, I’d eventually want more and end up spending again to get there. The Kobra X solved that before it became a problem. Getting multi-color printing right out of the box felt like a smart long-term choice. The hardware feels solid and well-built, and the machine does exactly what I want it to do, every time. My only focus now is getting better with the slicer and sharpening my skills as I go. The printer is also very easy to clean and there is little to no mess. If I had to choose again, I’d buy it without hesitation.

The print header stopped working while printing a lengthy one, nothing will come out of the nozzle and it still continued to print. Tried replacing and reloading the filament but it keeps printing thin air. It can't detect that nothing is coming out of nozzle. Tried unclogging but won't work They sent a new print head and it is working. Support is good they sent a new header within 2 weeks. Auto leveling is good. PLA printing good, Tpu causes lot of webs everywhere.

I got the printer on July 19th, 2026 (yesterday). Today I put it together. Not very difficult at all. I turned it on, and it went through some gyrations for about 35 minutes and finished that OK. So, I added a filament. That went well. I printed my first project which for everyone is a Benchy. It took 45 minutes and come out unbelievable. Next, I did the sheet that proves that the entire build plate is being accessed correctly. That worked fine. I am currently in the process of printing a USB holder I got from their site. I have to say. I am impressed. This machine is doing things that are quite complex. However, they made it fairly easy. I did need Gemini for a few things, but all in all. It seems to be a great way to get into the 3D printing world.
