The rug is the correct size, it's very soft, and I really like it. The color I received looks a bit faded from the advertised photo, however, it still works great in my bedroom. I was able to slide it up under my bed, all the way to the head of the bed, and I still had a nice walkway of rug extending from the bottom of the bed, but still have space of my wood floor between the rug and my dresser. I have placed it a bit off-center, so that I have about a foot of rug on one side, and then a good 2 - 2.5 ft on the opposite side, which is where my dog's bed is. She can either lay on the bed, or the rug, depending on her mood. :) I recommend the rug. Not sure how it will hold up, or clean as we haven't gotten to that point yet, as I just received it about a week ago.

I initially bought this rug for my old lady, doggy to stand on while she was eating because she was losing muscle tone and would slip on our laminate flooring. Standing on this, gave her the traction to be able to stand up and eat her food, and also gave her a comfortable place to lay down if the cats stole her bed. (I have 4 pets and honestly they all love to lay on it.) It worked well for her for a few months. Since she has passed away I have moved this out to my garage and I use it to stand on while I’m doing laundry in front of my washer and dryer. It’s very soft and has a little bit of cushion to it so it helps relieve my feet when I’m standing there, folding laundry forever. It was a good multi purpose purchase for my family.

This rug is PERFECT. Swishy, Fluffy & Beautiful. The only thing is, it has a very strong chemical smell to it when you open it. I don’t really know how long that’s gonna last. So if anyone has any suggestions.. lol.

Mixed feelings about this rug. It arrived 6 days ago. If you purchase this rug, you WILL need to purchase the extra padding. Without it, this rug is merely decorative and not functional. TWICE in under a week, I've had to PULL UP this rug from the laminate flooring. The backing and cool flooring is creating large amounts of dampness/condensation together. We just moved here 2 weeks ago, and I thought it was the apartment, but none of the other area rugs are having the same issues. I believe it the rug backing material itself and today it began smelling mildewy, which is a health hazard. Maybe a dehumidifier will remedy this situation, but is bizarre to only be happening since the rug was placed there. So I don't know about that scenario yet.... The carpet shag itself is very nice and feels great on the toes, so I was torn about whether to keep or send it back. There is not enough backing or padding to call this alone an area rug. I am disappointed in that aspect also. It looks very nice but feels more like a blanket when walking on vs an 8x10 area rug. I purchased solely based on the product price, and learned the realism of the tried and true; You get what you pay for.
