The GRS Series thermal riflescopes are designed for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts who need reliable thermal performance, rugged durability, and intuitive operation. Equipped with a Vanadium Oxide Uncooled Focal Plane Array (VOx) detector and a 256×192 resolution with 12μm pixel size, these scopes deliver sharp, detailed thermal imaging even in low-light or low-visibility conditions. The NETD <35mK @ 25°C, F/1.0 ensures exceptional sensitivity to subtle temperature differences, making it easier to detect small or distant animals at night. A 50Hz frame rate provides smooth imaging during movement, while image enhancement technology improves thermal contrast and scene clarity, allowing users to quickly identify targets across dense brush, fog, or varied terrain. The 7.0° × 5.3° field of view and 25mm objective lens provide a clear and balanced view, with 65mm eye relief for comfortable long- term use. The scope’s 3.5× optical zoom combined with 1–8× digital zoom, along with 10 reticle patterns and 7 pseudo color modes, allows hunters to adapt to different distances and environments. Advanced models, like the GRS225RF, feature 905nm infrared rangefinding up to 1000 yards (±5m), aiding in precise distance measurement and holdover estimation for accurate shots. Built for demanding outdoor conditions, the GRS Series is IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof and can handle recoil up to 800 g/0.4ms, ensuring reliable operation even on high-powered rifles. Recoil-activated video recording captures shooting moments seamlessly, while a 32GB SD card provides ample storage for footage. • Shockingly good quality!
Style: 256-25
Wow, what a GREAT scope on a budget! Sight in was 1 and done as another reviewer stated. Simple set up, easy buttons and not overwhelming to learn. My husband is NOT tech savvy, he had no issues at all. Zero recoil issues on a .308. If you're not after showing a brand sticker the one time you're out using this, save a couple grand, this absolutely gets it done! ... show more

  • Quality for a good price
Style: 256-25
It works great for my application. We are over run with wild pigs. They were destroying our yard at night. Put it on a 22 mag and went to work. The resolution of the pigs are clear as day. I have looked through some of my friends high dollar thermals and I don't see the difference. My longest shot around the house is maybe 100 yards so I do not need see objects at 2000 yards. Easy to 0 and set up. ... show more

  • Great thermal scope for night hunting without spending premium money Great thermal scope for night hunting without spending premium money
Style: 256-25
I bought this thermal scope mainly for night hunting, and honestly, it has impressed me more than I expected. I wasn’t expecting a top-tier expensive optic, but for the price, this scope delivers a lot of real-world performance. The biggest thing for me is how quickly it helps me pick up heat signatures in the dark. When scanning across a field or along a brush line, animals stand out clearly enough that I’m not guessing at every little movement. Even when something is partially hidden in grass or brush, the image gives me enough detail to understand what I’m looking at instead of just seeing a blurry hot spot. The view is smooth when scanning, which matters a lot when tracking coyotes, hogs, or other predators that don’t stay still for long. It feels natural to follow movement, and I don’t feel like I’m fighting the image while trying to keep an animal in view.I also like the different viewing modes and reticle options. They make the scope more useful in different conditions, whether I’m looking across an open field, checking the edge of the woods, or dealing with changing weather and background temperatures. It feels like a scope made for actual night hunting, not just something that looks good in a product listing. The automatic recording feature is a nice bonus. During a hunt, I don’t want to stop and mess with buttons, so having the scope capture important moments automatically feels practical. The app sharing is also useful when someone nearby wants to see what I’m seeing through the scope. Build quality feels solid, and it handled cold weather and light moisture without any problems. Battery life was enough for an evening hunt, which is important because once you are already out in the field, reliability matters more than anything.Overall, I think this is a very strong value thermal scope. It gives clear detection, smooth tracking, useful recording, and solid outdoor performance without costing what some premium thermals cost. For coyote hunting, hog hunting, or general predator hunting at night, this is a scope I would feel confident using again. I may try the rangefinder version next time too. ... show more

  • GRS225 Thermal Rifle Scope GRS225 Thermal Rifle Scope
Style: 256-25
This thermal scope really deserves a five star rating. Set up is super simple. Image quality is very impressive. It not only has on-board video, photos but also connects to an app that the media can be saved or downloaded to a phone while in use. This is definitely the simplest to learn and operate digital scope I’ve ever used. I really like the PIP that can be moved to optional locations on the screen making it easier on eyes with bifocal glasses. It has way more features than you could ever expect especially at this price point. Very wide selection of color images palettes and reticle styles. I still haven’t decided on a favorite yet. During my setup and learning time battery life was never an issue and lasted much longer than expected. I never found a need to use the factory supplied backup battery This scope is considered by most reviews a budget entry level thermal scope but I think it works better than many and with so many extra features it should be moved up to the next level. ... show more

  • Good entry thermal.
Style: 256-25
The grs225 is a decent thermal scope at a more affordable price. The image is good. The setup is easy. I have this mounted onto a Howa Herra H7 in .308 win with heavy 22 inch barrel. Was seriously easy to zero. One shot to see where it his paper, one more to verify.

  • Great scope!
Style: 256-25RF
So far so good, very well made scope, easily id/shoot targets at 300 yards, can see wayyy further tho, I watched a group of deer walking at around 900 yards. Very good clarity and the ballistic corrections work very well on my pellet rifle once set up! I put plates of peanut butter out by the field and have been shooting field mice at 60 yards!! Battery life is plenty longfor my use, I usually only hunt for an hour or two and still have 3/4ths of battery left so I would think you could get a good 6-7 hours at least. Overall I am VERY happy with my purchase and would buy another ... show more

  • Great product, great price
Style: 256-25
This works just as expected and is great, especially considering the cost when compared to other brands. It’s very easy to figure out how to use, and I really like the different color tones you can quickly cycle through - the white or green works best for me. It’s easy to zoom in and out on a target when needed. It’s comfortable to look through as well. I haven’t had any issues. I just wish I could have upgraded to the one with a range finder. ... show more

  • BUY THIS SCOPE!! BUY THIS SCOPE!!
Style: 256-25RF
As someone who deals with high class thermals on a regular basis and has over $20,000 in thermal optics, monoculars, NV, etc i was completely blown away by this optic. Does it compare to my $8500 IRAY?…absolutely not but does it compete with some of the 384 units made by other companies?…ABSOLUTELY!!! Many people see thermal optics and think they have an understanding of how they work, the relationship between base mag and resolution is often overlooked. Expensive scopes with a low base mag are just as equal to cheaper scopes with a higher base magnification. I bought this optic because my son has been begging me for a decent thermal to start out with and for the price, i promise you WILL NOT beat the clarity, simplicity, and overall build of this scope!!! Not only that but Goyojo also supports cancer related predator hunting events such as the NCPC. Just another bit of info…I took yhis scope out hunting the other night and at 230 yards and in 98% humidity 😳, I could perfectly make out every tree in my neighborhood as well as a mouse running in the brush at about 90 yards…if you aren’t familiar with thermal capabilities let me tell you this, that is unheard of for a 256 resolution scope, not to mention it has a range finder and a ballistic calculator on top of it. Cant get any better?…it has a built in compass in the lens frame so that if you run two optics side by side you can communicate to your partner where the animal is…Example: hey we have a red fox coming in SE at 135 degrees…That is something I have yet to see in any thermal ive looked through (to this day). Great optic, great price, great company, and great opportunity for new hunters and kids!!! ... show more
