Room for improvement": Instructions need a list of parts to be used. Came with lots of extras. Instructions need updating. It was a wrestling match to get holes lined up with holes in roof. The bars are so thick (vertical) that I had to had to completely remove wing nut on Thule J-hooks to get strapping bar rotated into position. Another wrestling match to hold j-hook upright, strap in position, while trying to get my hands under it to reinstall nut. Also the cross bars are too long. Very tight fit to the opposing socket. That said, I really like the design, and versatility. The little tail that wrap around the gutter to back of cab were much appreciated. Same for bungee loops. It looks like a well integrated stock option.

The media could not be loaded. I installed it like three months ago and I haven’t had any problems. My car looks nice, it gives it that sporty look. It could be a little difficult to install if you don’t have the correct tools, but if you follow the instructions you won’t get lost. Those bars can be used as an accessory or to give them a use. In conclusion, I recommend it to buy it for your car.

Left rail went on well enough, but not without a decent amount of effort. The right, not so much. The holes didn't line up well at all. Seems to be of poor quality as well, with small amounts of glue to hold the lower portion and body clips on. All of which came apart in shipping and had to be reattached. The hardware is very cheep as well, some of the bolts broke in the truck, that was as fun as you can imagine and others lost the threads with normal tightening. I ended up buying new hardware from O'Reilly's that worked well..... once you torqued the rail an ungodly amount to come close to matching the holes up. Tried to contact seller about new hardware and the issue with the holes, but did not receive a response. Contacted Amazon as well, but since this is a private seller, there was little they could do. All that being said, it is possible to put them on, but not without extra money in parts and an unnecessary amount headache in labor.

Honest review here: Installation should’ve taken no more than an hour because it is 14 screws (7 each side). However, that was not the case. It took almost 3 hours plus a trip to Harbor Freight to get a better T27 Star but since the one provided stripped relatively quickly. Alignment was off. Quality is what I expected for 150 dollars. Cheap, maybe sturdy but after installation and a small shake I don’t think I will load it close to the 150lbs weight capacity. No new wind noise so that is a plus, but there are gaps at the front and back. Silicone that came with was dried and literally dust, so grab some from Harbor Freight or elsewhere before installation to ensure water tight seal. Also, it has 3 different sized screws but only mentions short and long so good luck trying to find out which goes to what. If you are really clueless with the less than ideal instructions, look up JerryRigEveryThing on YouTube (not sponsored) and search for his Toyota Tacoma roof rack installation from a few years back, it’s literally the exact same only his is from a legit company. One thing I did notice is a reviewer said “plastic clips but no mention in the instructions where they go”. Those clips are extras if you pop out, break or loose the ones that are already ON the roof rack when it comes out of the box. I kept my spares in my tool box just in case. They do look good pretty good though. I would say, look around a bit and maybe think of spending the extra 50-100 bucks for one that is aligned better. I can’t fully recommend based off of the installation headache and the cheap quality, but if you want one of the cheapest racks out there, be prepared. Thanks. Update: I had to remove and reinstall to add a little more silicone and I noticed after literally 5 days of them up, on the drivers rear in between the 2 rear screw holes is a decent crack so you get what you pay for. Also, for those saying “it’s misaligned” like I did in my review, simply bend the front brackets that have the 2 screw holes either up or down depending on where the holes on the rest of the bar line up and it’ll fit perfect. And if you have a gap at the front, do the same thing with the front on the brackets where the plastic clip snaps in, bend up or down and it should mount without a gap or at least a smaller less noticeable gap. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREAK IT. Anyway, 2nd installation took literally 30 minutes with the tips and tricks I just explained so I would give it 4 stars but the crack brought it back to 3. They do look really good though and they do fit you just have to mess with the front brackets a bit. Also, I deployed the cross bars for the first time today without anything on top and there is a lot of wind noise and possibly some drag so keep that in mind. Without the crossbars deployed, wind noise wasn’t noticeable. Thanks!

I have tried a couple of these racks from other websites and all I got was grief. Parts warped and holes misdrilled nothing lined up and complete junk. This one is fantastic. The quality is great and as good as the manufacturer OEM. You get everything you need for installation including tools and those wonderful waterproof crush washers to keep it from leaking. Everything lined up nicely and total time for installation was about 45 minutes. I could see this taking longer if your not mechanically inclined but not difficult at all. I would definitely recommend this rack for anyone neding one or simply wanting the look to upgrade their Tacoma.
