I love gadgets, particularly kitchen gadgets, and this one is da bomb! Works great with my KitchenAid stand mixer. It's just fun to use! Very sturdily built, reasonably lightweight due to partial hard plastic construction. I've had no problems with stickiness, but of course, you need to prepare the dough properly and make sure it's decently coated with flour. I've read recipes that say to refrigerate the dough for an hour or two to firm it up, but I've found that it works just fine at room temperature and, in fact, cold dough seems to lose elasticity and break and crumble when you feed it through. There are hand pasta rollers, and they do a similar job, but they're almost as expensive as this gadget (the better quality ones, that is, and trust me, you want to stay away from the cheaper ones). If you've got the stand mixer, it's so much easier to just turn it on and feed the dough in. You don't have to clamp a hand roller to your counter and try to coordinate feeding the dough in while turning the handle with your other hand. I also love that this comes with a collapsible stand for drying your finished pasta. And did I mention it's FUN?

I was hesitant to buy a non-KitchenAid brand attachment, but this one totally exceeded expectations! It made my first pasta-making experience smooth and fun. The roller and cutters worked beautifully, and the pasta came out perfect. For the price, it’s unbeatable. Pros: • Easy to use, even for a first-timer • Attachments feel sturdy and well-made • Cuts both spaghetti and fettuccine evenly • Great value compared to the name brand Cons: • None!

Update: I did try the pasta maker 3-in-1 (the seller was so kind to reach out to me, ask about my experience, they recommended I try the pasta make instead) and I’m glad I did and my mom did too. It was easy to use and easy to clean. We had a lot of fun making pasta for Easter Sunday and this 3-in-1 adapter did helped make it quickly. Much improved experience. This is our 2nd adaptor we tried (1st was the adaptor for making raviolis see below) we liked this adaptor so much more and it help us a lot. I would highly recommend this one for making spaghetti and lasagna bc it take and does almost all the work for me. My mom enjoyed it too and she couldnt believe how easy it was to change the width from thick to thin as we made and worked with the dough. We tried it out for Easter and everyone loved the pasta dinner. My mom can now make fresh pasta anytime just like when I was a kid. So I would recommend this especially if you like making pasta from scratch but don’t have the means to do all the hard work. Machine does almost all of it. It’s fabulous! Originally review: I got the 3-in-1 ravioli's-THIS IS NOT THE MACHINE FOR ME. So my brother and I wanted to make ravioli for the family (including my mom who use to make us ravioli growing up but hasn’t in a long time because of all the work it takes) well this machine is a bit messy bc the exact amount has to be placed in the slot with the two pieces of pasta. My mom came in and saved the day and she placed the flatten pasta, placed a teaspoon of filling along the pasta every 2inches, then took water (dabbed it) and placed the other flatten pasta on top… boombadaboom used a knife to cut the ravioli. She made like 30-40 ravioli in 2min. My brother and I made 30-40 ravioli in 2hours using this machine. It’s difficult. My mom said her pasta machine is from Italy it has two parts: a flattener and the cutter for spaghetti. She’s used it for over 45years, super easy to wash and clean (made of stainless steal). For now I will borrow my Moms and use her old fashion ravioli technique to make amazing ravolis. Update:

After cutting noodles out by hand for many years, treated myself to a quicker machine driven cutter! I love how it made spaghetti noodles easy to do! Haven't tried the ravioli attachment yet but directions pretty explanatory. What was concerning was the knob was to have numbers showing width as you turned the knob. Mine didn't. No numbers anywhere so I just eyeballed it as it ran and adjusted accordingly. Kinda disappointing something wasn't totally made correctly. Email company is only contact info..Will wait but probably won't hear back. It works so keeping it, I can adjust as I use it..Would give it a 5 but incorrect craftmanship was a bummer. Cleans up pretty quick if you use brush provided, and let it dry out first. Still playing with my new toy, and soon will be making alot of dinners with pasta! Used 00 flour which works great! Update: I contacted the company and they were quick to address this issue; replacement was made of faulty unit and quickly! Very happy with the use and ease of this product. Raised my rating.
