I was going to rate this a 5 star. However, it was missing an important part. The screw that holds the frame and the base housing was missing. Have to go to Home Depot to get the missing screw. My grandparents got a ring doorbell for Christmas but struggled to figure out how to affix it because their house has stucco all around and only had a small metal trim around the front door. Aka there was no easy place to affix it because they didn’t want to drill into the stucco and risk cracking it, and there was no traditional wooden door frame. We tried the kind of mount that slips over the door itself (like for apartments) but the mount is too thick for the door to close. THANKFULLY we found this, it’s designed with a slim mounting plate which was the perfect size to drill into the small metal trim around the door.
