Perfect for my apartment door because I can't mount it into the wall. The 3M tape is crazy sticky and has even held up in 115 degree Az heat!

    • Great solution for renters
I rent so wiring a doorbell or adding screws or some more permanent fixture isn’t an option. My old holder for my doorbell camera made it a pain to take the camera off for charging and hard to keep the door fully closed and sealed. This has been a great alternative. I wasn’t sure if the adhesive would do the trick but it’s great! There isn’t siding that I could easily put this on so I stuck it right on my door. It stays in place perfectly and was so easy to install. Taking the device out of the holder to charge isn’t a hassle but it does still take a minute. This might not be totally theft proof, but doesn’t look as easy to remove the device (good deterrent) and it would still be hard to quickly and discreetly steal. ... show more

    • Sticky back is not great. Choose another way to mount. Does protect some from weather.
The sticky only works well on flat smooth surfaces and it WILL take the paint off when you remove it, you are probably better off with screws unless you have a magnetic door and can attach the sticky to magnets and then attach it. It does not protect from prying off the front and removing the doorbell. It does protect some from the weather. ... show more
