I replaced a Wyze V3 on a commercial building with this ANRAN C2. What an improvement for the same price. The picture quality is unbelievable compared to the previous camera as are the features. A lot more features that work, plus SD recordings that are EASY to access, 10-20 or 30 second record, NO cloud fees. I have the ANRAN plugged in at the same location as the Wyze, much better coverage and twice as clear.. Another nice feature, the ANRAN has built in battery backup. A big plus living in Florida with lots of power outages. No more unplugging to reset. I liked this camera so much I ordered another C2 solar and two ANRAN K2's one a Q1 the other a Q3. I want to see the difference between AI and PIR notifications. Nice to have professional quality cameras on my commercial property. I shared the app with the tenants, they could not believe the picture quality and how it shows the detail of their cars in the parking lot. These cameras are real winners and tenant approved. lol. Finally, company that is selling quality cameras that are not an avenue to a high price subscription service. This one checked all the boxes for me and then some. Update 7/20/24 Just added another C2 with solar panel to my security cameras. A neighbor just had his wifi Fiber Optic cut into his house to disable his security cameras when they broke in. I decided to add additional solar, SD card camera to the corner of my house. It will be mount where they would have to enter to cut any of my cables into the house. No AC power or wifi needed to record on the C2 camera. We have to try to out smart these guys. I had an outside theft at a commercial property last month. The ANRAN recorded him beautifully, but he wore a mask for a nighttime theft and kept his truck out of camera range

I really like the ease of the camera to use! My nephew setup for me and it has so easy to check and picture quality is great! It picks up any motion in the field and alarm goes off at times when someone is in view! Love that! I got because someone ransacked my car in my driveway! I am impressed with the camera and ease of use ! Only wish battery would last longer before charging it! Otherwise I have no complaints at all!

Color: Camera with Solar Panel
The first thing to do is download the Anran phone app and create your personal account. Very easy to set up and understand the manual but I didn't even need it because the Anran software app has each screen that shows pictures and text on what to do on each step. About 4 minutes and I was up and running. I have the cloudedge app installed on my other Anran cameras but this Anran app has a few new worthy features in the settings such as a sub menu for more humanoid settings. You can actually choose animals, cars, people,and packages arriving and leaving if you have the camera located by your front door. It also has more infrared settings for night color and I tested all of them and they work excellent. The color setting was really clear. The picture is a snapshot I had taken of my back deck before sunset. You can choose video in SD or HD in the settings. There are many other settings for how you want the alarms, motion, notifications, video , images etc. Assembly of the camera is also quick and the box included templates on mounting both camera and solar panel and the solar panel cord is plenty long enough for mounting far away from the camera ( I thought this was a good feature too). All the hardware needed is included. Final Thoughts: A non expensive home security device that works flawlessly. The Anran phone app is a well thought out application design and in my opinion a 5 star item.

Battery died after 9 days. Manual says frequent alerts and "waking camera" can cause this and to change settings. But the way I see it if I have to avoid "waking" the camera and desensitizing or disabling alerts, then I don't really have continuous monitoring. The I have to spend a full day recharging (manual says 9 hours). Consider a solar power version. I'm also looking at buying a light socket USB adapter. Otherwise the camera works and functions pretty well.

Being on a budget, I bought a couple ANRAN C2 cameras to capture activity outside my house and I couldn't be happier! I'd never used security cameras before and don't consider myself to be "tech-savvy" but still found these super easy to set up. Now I can easily monitor both cameras from anywhere using the ANRAN app on my phone... where I can also adjust settings, speak to visitors, turn on the audible alarms, etc. The picture quality is very good, the night vision is unbelievable (without the spotlight turned on) and the microphone picks up sound from a considerable distance away (50+ yards). The battery life is amazing too. I've had the cameras installed for almost 2 months now and have had to recharge the batteries only once but that was because the temps were close to -40 degrees for almost a week (I live in Alaska) before the batteries died. I had to contact support for assistance because the cameras were only detecting people and I wanted to be notified when cars pulled in my driveway. They were very helpful and resolved the issue in seconds (the fix should've been apparent... but again, I'm not "tech-savvy"). What a great buy!

Cons: Regardless of using an SD card, this camera doesn't provide continuous recording. It only records when events happen, and it disappears from the recording history after a few hours. You're basically required to use the subscription service if you want anything outside of live monitoring. There is definitely lag when trying to open the app and view the camera. By the time I can get the live video feed loaded, the event has already passed. Camera can only be moved manually. Pros: Video quality is excellent. Easy to setup.
