This clock checked all the boxes for me when I wanted to replace an old bedside CD player. The display is large and easy for me to read without glasses. No date, temperature, or humidity — just the time. The brightness adjustment is fantastic; going smoothly from off to bright enough to serve as a night light. I use it at almost its dimmest setting so it doesn't disturb my sleep and I can just make it out in daylight. The plastic woodgrain appearance is ok; realistic enough from a short distance. Wireless charging works easily with my Pixel 7a phone. The extra USB port in the back is handy for charging anything else. Bluetooth connectivity is easy to set up, and the speaker is just fine if you don't need a stereo experience. Volume adjustment on the back is odd, as others have mentioned, but I don't use the built-in FM radio so I can adjust volume on my phone. The size is great, taking up little of my dresser top.

This is a great looking bedside clock. The dimmable display gets 5 stars as it has a truly dim setting for use in a dark bedroom. Other clocks I've had did not get dim enough and could be annoyingly too bright even on the dimmest of settings. The radio sound is actually quite good. The surface charger (for use with a late model smart phone) works great and avoids the need for a separate charging station on the bedside table. In the event you have an older phone or other device that uses a USB charger, the included USB port works great. My only complaint regards the radio preset/memory feature. A push of a button and the auto-program feature runs the FM band from lowest to highest frequency, storing any and all stations it senses. It holds up to 30 FM presets which is more than enough. But . . . it stores any signal it senses, even when the station has weak signal or high degrees of static. There is no way to delete these useless channels from the preset list and there is no way to jump between presets to skip over the bad stations. If it captures a good signal on preset 2 and then there is no good station until preset 6, you have to push the up arrow 4 times to page from station 2 to station 6. I mostly listen to only one station anyway, so it's not a big deal, but I docked the unit 1 star for this goofy quirk. The alarm feature is straight forward. You can wake to a beep or to a preset FM station. The sleep function is straight forward as well. There is no AM band on this radio, it is FM only. Not a concern for me but some may miss having access to local AM stations.

Bought this BT AM/FM clock radio to use in my counseling office for clients to be able to see what time it is from across the room, but to also be able to listen to my Amazon Prime Music playlists and anything else I need to amplify in session from my computer (e. g., YouTube videos, etc.). Great sound, pairs easily, AM/FM is accessed using a wired antenna (I don't really use it, so I kept it bundled up and behind my clock).
