I’ve had these a little over two years and they are awesome and still going strong. I’m a mobile groomer so they don’t sit in the charger 24/7 and I get through 2-5 appointments (just depends on the appointment and sometimes 2-3 days) without needing to charge them at all.

I’m only to the point of grooming 5 dogs a day, but I’ve never had to worry about the battery life on these. I’ve never had an issue in general and I’ve loved not having a cord to deal with. The slight clunkiness was something I got used to fast. Edit: a year into using them there is an issue with the switch not always working at first. It delays when I want it to turn on. Sometimes for a little longer, then I stick it on the charger and try again in a minute and it usually works fine again ... show more

I purchased these December 26, 2022. As of this month, I purchased a new clipper set of a different brand because I simply cannot stand the constant turning on and off. If I tap the battery on a hard surface it helps for a little bit. As a professional groomer, I’m disappointed in Andis for the quality of these clippers. They not only randomly turn off, they get extremely hot regardless of how much you oil and clean your blades or change your blade drive and keep them clear of hair, they are extremely loud and literally terrify my dogs every time they turn on, they’re really heavy and will hurt your hand minutes after picking them up, and they’re not ideal for small dogs for the small, nitty, gritty areas. I will never recommend anyone wastes their money on these Andis clippers. ... show more

GREAT PRODUCT. I bought in November of 2019 and it NEVER disappointed. It’s quiet and takes awhile to warm up your blades. I’m a professional dog groomer and these are my GO-TO clippers!!!

    • Great clipper but don’t drop it!
As a professional groomer this clipper is the best...fast easy to use no cord! But don’t drop it! Breaks very easily and will cost about 100$ to fix ...I’ve had mine fixed twice..I have two..get two lol but it’s all worth it but again have a back up!
