I got this size for the body of my Standard Poodle. They have a course hair and my blades start to dull after about 6 months. I find this ceramic blade is holding an edge longer than the steel blades. I do make sure they are oiled before use, and oil them when I store them. Great blade.

I needed this to cut some mats out of some cat fur and it worked great. I had the same blade which was at least 10 years old and it was terrible. I cannot comment on durability or longevity but for the one time I used it, it worked perfect and I intend to get some more blades from this seller.

I’ve used Andis brand blades for years. It took me days to shave my full size Bernadoodle. I decided to give these blades a try and they are so much better! It cut through his thick fur like a knife through butter. I was able to fully shave him in under and hour and a half. I will definitely be buying more of these! ... show more

I ordered a couple of these blades and none of them lasted longer than a week. They all have stopped cutting and are dull.
