I initially did not think such a small heater that was priced so cheaply would do anything. to my surprise, this little heater packs a punch! It heats up my bedroom nicely, it’s not too loud, and I love the safety feature. It has a knob that sticks out if the heater is tipped over it automatically turns off. This is definitely a great pick if you want an affordable heater without having to worry about safety. (of course I wouldn’t leave it on if I’m not home or anything of that sort but at least don’t have to worry about my cats knocking it over. Lol) It has a dial to adjust the temperature and a thermostat to automatically shut it off. If you are at that temperature. It also has two settings, high and low. I was skeptical because of the size, but i was wrong. it works perfect in my PC room (12x12 ft). I don't know about a normal sized room but it is GREAT in smaller areas.the heat outout is great, is very quiet and has great controls for temperature settings and super easy to use. I wanted a smaller space heater for my bathroom so I ordered this one. Pros: 1) Heat output is huge. 2) Safety - will shut off if knocked over or even tipped. 3) Small and does not take up much room. Cons: IT'S NOISY. Some folks might not mind or even notice but it was just too noisy for me in my bathroom. (I have since moved it to a larger room.) ... show more

OK, Let's start with a problem, the tipping plug on the bottom is fragile. You can easily break it by sliding the heater as opposed to lifting it up. Now for the rest of the story: This compact heater is likely the best you can get. It's heat output is excellent, it is very quiet. I had one of them turned on for 3 weeks and the device was cool to the touch (except the very front which the heat is expelled from). It did it's job well. Also, it is only one fifth the size of the one it was bought to replace. well worth the cost. I can honestly recommend this unit for home use. ... show more

    • Wow a lot of bang for your buck!

This little square can heat my bed room so hot in minutes. Dont want to heat my whole house when sleeping, but dont want ever be cold when Im sleeping either. Now I turn my thermostat to my house way down and turn my little cube on in my 12X13 bed room on and shut my door. In minutes it was too hot. Turned the dial down until it stopped and then up a tiny bit. It came back on shortly after that and again it was too hot. So i turned it back down to where it shut off again and left if there. It kept my room perfect all night. I tested the safety features by moving it just a bit and it shut off instantly. Perfect and only 20 bucks. It really kicks out the heat. Amazing! ... show more

For the size this thing really warms up a room. It has a tip over shut off which my lasko doesn’t have. Even though it doesn’t have a digital temperature read out it is easy to dial in. Very WARM!!!! Best deal for the $$$. Works great in my bedroom or in my unheated kitchen.

It works. Makes hot air. Grill at front gets hot which is not too good if you want to grab it from the front but is expected since the fan forces the heat forward. The temp. control is a bit finnicky but I only tried it in a large room which it had no intention of heating the whole room up in any reasonable time - the room was already at 71 degrees so it was mainly trying to keep it at that temperature. I mostly ran it on 750W to break it in. It does get plenty hot in front and the fan works fine. It is reasonably quiet - enough that you wouldn't really notice it after a couple of minutes.
