We live in an old house without a/C or heat so we have to use windows units for a/C and we have a few gas heaters throughout the house but the old gas heater in our bathroom was capped off when we moved in for safety measures by the gas company, so we didn't have a heater at all in the bathroom. This little heater PACKS A PUNCH!!! It's got 2 heat settings and the lowest setting is very warm, but the highest heating will sweat you out quick. This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm excited to see how well it does when the temp is in single digits. Last night it was 32° and it was TOASTY in the bathroom. I was a little doubtful of its performance considering its tiny size and light weight, when I first pulled it out of its box. To my delight, it works surprising well. I bought this little space heater for a back room (turned home office) where I telework. The room can get a little chilly in the fall/winter months but not enough to warrant turning on the furnace for the whole house. I really like the safety features (overheat and tip-over switch). If I even pick it up to move, the will automatically turn off. While it has a temperature setting (+ Maximize and - Minimize output), it does not have a thermostat reading. So one just turns the dial up (+) or down (-) to adjust the temperature. ... show more

Simple dials - no guesswork its "fan" (no heat) , "*" low heat, "**" high heat. Other dial is temp selection of low to high. Works quite well and pretty quiet. It automatically stops if its picked up, pushed over, or moved. This was specifically for a bathroom that remains too cold in the winter, making it "the last place" to take a morning shower in our household. I have to say that I’m quite impressed by this little heater. Our patio doors are not insulated at all so it can get quite chilly in our living room. Even though this heater is small, the heat that comes from it is quite powerful! This little heater on the low setting takes no time at all with heating the living room. The heat is actually so strong that we can only have the heater turned on for a short period of time. I would highly recommend this heater to anyone. ... show more

It is so small but don't let that fool you. It heats a large area fast, but it flips my breakers if I use other appliances. I have to turn it off to use anything else on the same circuit . It has flipped the breaker in three different rooms. An electrician told me I do not need a new breaker box, but that the heater pulls a lot of electricity. With home heating oil so expensive this winter, I invested in this little heater. The anti-tip feature gives peace of mind and doesn't interfere with using on carpet. I use it under my working desk. Does a great job to keep my feet warm. Has an safety button at the bottom, if it falls, the power will be cut off. Will over power the outlet if I left it on high for a long time. So I can only put it in low, still doing a good job, good enough for me.

It finally got cold enough to use it. It works well. controls are manual, it is taking me time to find the right temperature. I do like that if it tips over it will shut off.
