I charged the Andeman Epower-199 jump starter to 100% after it was delivered. I used a multimeter prior to jumping the car and the battery showed 3.4 volts. I was worried that all the electronics in the car and auto start air conditioning would require letting the battery draw a lot of power from the Andeman Epower-199. When I attached the jump starter to the battery, the unit lit up and was flashing the start indicator (meaning the battery was bellow 60%). I held down the override/boost button for a few seconds, and suddenly the car electronics came on. Car alarm, air conditioning, etc. I quickly got in the car to start the engine and noticed there was no low battery indicator or message on the console. The car started immediately. The jump starter showed 96% capacity before I put it away.

I love the small size to power ratio of this contraption. I've used it to start my boat after I was stranded in the middle of the lake. It saved my fishing day. I've also used it to start an F 150. It holds a charge very well. I typically charge it once a year to make sure it has juice when needed which I hopenis rarely. It's small, so stores under my back seat nicely. Definitely recommend.

I watched a review video by Project Farm on YouTube comparing several small battery booster devices like this one. This specific on received the reviewers praise for its features and capabilities. I purchased two, one for each of my personal vehicles. I lent one to my father-in-law to use, he didn’t end up using it, but had it for some period of time that I decided to buy another one. I got my original one back and tossed one of them in my work truck. Up to this point I had never even used this device. During Nov/Dec 2022, we were sent up to work in Connecticut. We picked up a Ram 5500 with the 6.7L Cummins diesel from the warehouse to use for CRAN troubleshooting. We went to start it and heard a click, engine did not turn over. I pulled out the Audew Epower 172 booster, connected it to the battery, pushed the booster button, gave it a couple of seconds, then turned the key. The engine fired right up! Since that morning I have had to use this battery booster over a half dozen times to start that same truck over two weeks of using it. Both batteries are shot from being discharged too far too many times. Now, you can boost battery and run glow plugs once, and boost it again to start it, or bypass glow plug and start it right away. Modern diesels start far better in the cold than they used to 15+ years ago. This battery booster is far easier to use than jumper cables, and you don’t need anyone else to lend their car to jump your battery. I don’t know what this device will do for a completely dead battery, but it will get you going as long as your battery is not completely dead. If your battery is completely dead, it may or may not get you going. I would strongly recommend getting one of these for a personal vehicle and checking its charge level at least every other month and once a month during the winter. I put mine in places in my vehicle where is is not exposed to direct sunlight.

After an autozone brand failed to jump my car after I the radio going with the engine off. I decided to buy this one after noticing someonr else purchased it because of Project Farm's youtube video on it. Glad I did, walked to work instead for two days since the weather was nice but now I'm back on my wheels. It was 80% charged when it arrived. I unboxed and immediately began charging it using the wall charger to usb c port. It took about 15 minutes to get to 99% and about an additional 10 min to get from 99 to 100. After starting my Mazda 6, it had 97% left. The case is quite big, so I'm storing it under my seat instead of the glove box. This could come in handy big time for you or if happen to see someone else stranded due to a low battery. Can't wait to throw the autozone jump starter out the window.
