I was really happy with this fountain...nice sound, attractive, nicely made...then it stopped flowing after 4 months. I could see that the tube was clogged so I used a q-tip and cleaned it out, but there is no way to re-attach it. It must be done in a factory and not by hand. I took out the 3 year warranty plan through Asurion and just attempted to make a claim. I've been on the phone for an hour and half going back and forth between Asurion and Amazon. Now I've contacted the seller. Such a hassle!!! Let's see if they actually replace the product....will update. ... show more

I love this water fountain. I have no idea what the sound is since I am deaf, so I can give no info on that. No guests seem to have been bothered by the sound and I didn't think to ask them. I love how versatile this fountain is. While it came with a small basin, I used a larger pot I already had that I previously used for a water fountain. I add the vintage glass tree to the standing pot, some stacked slate as a riser for the Buddha, stone elephant and some other crystals. I had a piece of amethyst that fit perfectly inside the small pot the water comes out of so it reduces splashing. The slate bridge keeps the upper part of the fountain from tipping forward since the glass tree is very heavy. I added precious and semi-precious stones to the water as well as a light. I plan to get another light to put in front of the slate bridge as well as an air stone and a small live water plant. I put a small cage around the motor to keep any stones from laying close to the motor that might block water flow, which will keep the motor running longer. When the motor gives out, it is easily replaced. I no longer buy fountains that have the built in motor, they are a waste of money since all small motors will give out in a couple of years. I have been making fountains, usually from scratch, for over 30 years and the small motors just do not last. This is a really great little fountain, especially for someone who wants to personalize their fountain to reflect their likes and personality. The media could not be loaded. I love the small size, the sound is perfect - not too quiet and not too loud. I have nestled it into the front of a larger pot that I planted with an assortment of plants. Having it in a planter keeps any splashes contained where the plants can benefit and not onto a table or floor. I placed some small black stones in the bottom and some moss and lichen from the woods around it. Every few days I put some new flowers from my indoor or outdoor plants in the cute upright vase, and the water gently trickles out of the overturned one. I added a "halo" type grow light and a Top Collection 4398 miniature frog climbing a branch - both from Amazon. It is my favorite part of my favorite room, the sunroom full of plants!!!! ... show more

I purchased this to place in my small reading nook area and LOVE it. The sound is loud enough to drown out some outdoor noise (I live in Hawaii and my windows are always open) and it was super easy to assemble. Would definitely purchase again.

I like the fountain. Small and simple, gets the job done. Only complaint is the water does splash a lot and stains the table. Also where does the water even go? I thought there was a reserve. I have to refill way too often. 3 stars for that.

There is a little button on the side of the water pump, and you can adjust the flow (and, hence, the noise) to be stronger or lighter as you like. This also addresses the light splashing issue. So far so good, I really like this fountain!
