Perfect! Makes just enough bubbling sound, and the moving crystal ball is visually interesting. It doubles as a night light. The water doesn't splash out at all. I added my own fake ferns and a few rocks. About 10 days after we set it up, the ball stopped rolling. Even though it looked perfectly clean, my hubby explained that the minerals in the water were probably building up on its surface, preventing it from moving. We wiped down the ball, and it's moving again just fine. In the future, we are going to use distilled water instead of filtered (to get rid of the minerals) with about 2 tiny drops of bleach to kill any bugs. Only needed to replenish some of the water once in 10 days due to evaporation. There's no off switch, but that really doesn't matter because we leave it running 24/7. So far, so good but I’ve had it for less than two weeks. It’s quiet but you can adjust the flow. It’s attractive and clean-looking. Very easy to assemble. The size is perfect for my space. However, I haven’t had the greatest experience with tabletop fountains. Either the pump or power cord breaks within a year with light to moderate, but careful, use. That’s why I purchased the four-year insurance policy this time. We’ll see. ... show more

The fountain is very pretty, but in the evening the light is not bright enough to see the water flowing down. Also, the description says: listen and relax to the sounds of a waterfalls against the rocks. The fountain makes absolutely no noise. No relaxing waterfalls sound to relax you. It absolutely has no sound at all. You do not hear the water flowing down. If you are thinking of purchasing this product to listen to the water falls sound, like I did for relaxation, DON’T waste your money. You will get the fountain but absolutely no water falls sound . What good is it to lay down and try to relax with a soft tranquil waterfalls against the rocks , when there is none. don’t waste your money. you will not hear anything. It is completely silent. We need a fountain that makes a bit more sound for sound masking in our home. We'd had a huge one and wanted to downsize. This certainly was a downsize - a little bit of a Spinal Tap moment, but truly it is what was described. You can make it 'louder or softer' by adjusting how full you fill the water. If you fill to the brim, it's going to be quieter, and when the water level gets lower, the sound gets louder (water falls farther, more noise). The only other thing I hadn't anticipated was how often we have to fill it back up vs. our much bigger fountain. The water dissipates through the day, so I have to fill it every evening to keep the level where we like it. And if you wait too long you'd risk damaging the pump if it gets too low. So unplug it if you're going away, and if you can't keep the routine of nightly fills, you probably need a bigger fountain. ... show more

This fountain is stunning and creates a very relaxing atmosphere with its sleek, stone-like aesthetic. It’s a perfect centerpiece for any room. However, the durability is disappointing. The paint has started peeling significantly, especially at the tip of the water spout where the flow is constant. Seeing the lighter material underneath the dark finish really ruins the high-end look. Pros: Great design and soothing water sound. Cons: Poor paint finish; peels easily around the edges and outlet.
