The media could not be loaded. If you're looking for a small, minimalist tabletop fountain that is NOT plastic, this fits the bill. It's easy to set up - attach the pump and replace the dome. The water evaporates quickly; good for adding humidity in the room but it needs some attention. I add water every day, ~ 1/2 cup, when the pump starts gurgling. Otherwise it is silent when filled. I wanted more of a trickling noise, but not too much, so I added a small rock to the top. That breaks up the flow and makes a quiet trickle. (See video.)     • Bowl too small for evaporation, add water DAILY!
I love fountains. But I only want to have to add water every few days. The bowl is too small and I have to add water EVERY DAY because the evaporation makes the pump quit working. Not happy with that.

It's a pretty fountain, but the pump is really bad. Zero zen points. I had to buy a different pump. Add at least $20 to your budget if you buy this fountain. Namaste

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a family member who now works from home and I thought could use some tranquility. Unfortunately, I was curious so I tried it out before wrapping it and I dropped it. It broke, but that is no one's fault but my own. Naturally, I wrapped it up and figured I'd feign shock on Christmas Day and come up with a brilliant excuse; in the spirit of the season, I came clean. I managed to glue the beautiful ceramic base back together easily enough, but plugging it in, I heard only the gentle hum of the pump that wasn't strong enough to provide that serene sound of trickling water. But the cat likes it, so I'll just write this one off. If you're looking for a little slice of nature for your desktop, this isn't for you. But it is pretty and if you have an old fish tank pump laying around it might be worth swapping out. ... show more

I absolutely love my fountain. It was simple to assemble and the rocks look so cool. It is sturdy and being enamel it should stay looking new for a long time. I also love the color as my room is green and this compliments it nicely. One trick, you need to make sure that the globe part is straight up and not leaning. It is not a lout water fall but the constant water flow form the top is soothing and it looks really cool. Also, maybe because I live in a warm climate, I do have to add water to it almost every day if I leave it on all day. You do not have to take it apart to add the water, just lift the globe slightly so the water get into the opening in the back and pour enough water until it bubbles out of the top. I recommend. The only reason that I’m putting 4 instead of 5 is because the pump can be noisy once the water drops under the maximum level. The positive is that is quite pretty and the sound of the water is reminiscent of being beside a stream.
