Received and set up was easy. Worked right off and has a pleasant sound. Lights are bright and at night create an interesting light pattern. After running for two days, had some issues. Lights were dim and pump barely moved water. If I disconnected the lights the motor ran fine. Reconnecting the lights, had bright lights that dimmed and motor loss power. Instead of trying to box item up and return it to Amazon, I went on Alpines Corporation web sight, and made a warranty claim. I filled in the claim form and sent it electronically. In my email I restated what had happened. Within two days (on a Saturday) I received a response from a customer service representative. She, right off, processed my claim and offered to replace the lights and pump. Within five days of my initial inquiry the parts were shipped. Through UPS. I received them fairly quickly, UPS had a delay. Everything works well and I am happy with the product and Alpine Corporation. They stood behind the product and sent me the necessary parts to have it working again. I highly recommend the product and the company. The representative was very polite and attentive to my issues and quickly resolved the matter. Again, this is a nice table top fountain. It is pleasant to watch and creates a relaxing atmosphere. I am going to use it in a vivarium. It is made of good quality. There were some pieces that rattle in side, left over from manufacturing, but were easily removed. This fountain is well made & beautiful! A part was missing when it arrived. I contacted the company & had the part in a few days! Easy to set up! It’s relaxing to listen to the water flow & the lights give a nice glow. I highly recommend this fountain. A great seller to work with.

The media could not be loaded. I love the way it looks. I like the water sound. The only problem is that the sound of the pump motor is just as loud as the water trickling. It's rather annoying. Is this what others are calling 'a quiet motor'? If I have a bad motor, it would be nice to know. I like the fountain enough that I'm tempted to just buy another motor, but the thought of taking it apart and trying to install a new one makes me cringe. 11/5/22 Update. I've had this in my office since the purchase for no other reason that I've not had the desire to bother with another motor. I have used it on and off since then. I've had to knock this down to a single star, though. The main reason is leaking. It's leaked a few times now. The leak split my $50 wood tray that I bought for the fountain. I can glue that, so it's not that big of a deal, but it's frustrating. See attached photo. You need a flashlight to look into the reservoir to be able to see at what level the water is at. There is no marker so you really don't know if you're at the right level or over the level. This just isn't worth the hassle. It looks great, but the functionality is subpar at best. I've decided to try a fountain that has a separate reservoir where I can simply lift the fountain off of the bowl when needed and can easily see the water level. This fountain is a single moulded piece with a tiny sliding door in the back that you can't even fit your entire hand into to reach the motor. The media could not be loaded. Delivery was fast and the item was well packed. I recommend unpacking the fountain outside because the styrofoam casing falls apart easily and is messy. The fountain was easy to assemble, all parts and the fountain were in perfect condition, and brand new, the instructions were easy to follow, the lights were firmly in place, the pump works really well, the fountain/pump both have very good water flow, very little water splashing, and nice soothing water sounds, there's also very little pump noise or vibration. The only negative is the AC Adapter power supply for the pump/lights seems too warm to me, the water reservoir has ample water covering the pump and I've plugged it into different outlets but it still feels too warm. I'll be looking into this issue and maybe get a replacement adapter for safety sake till then I'll unplug it when I'm unable to monitor it. It also doesn't have a power switch, it must be unplugged to turn it off. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase, I decorated it with air plants and added crystals to soften the upper lights. The lights are white but show up blue in video. Update, 7 months later the AC power adapter fell apart, I believe it was due to constant overheating. I'm purchasing another pump to hopefully resolve the overheating concern I've had since purchasing it. The fountain itself is still in good shape and still works well. ... show more
