The media could not be loaded. I read multiple reviews & decided to purchase this Fountain based on 1 guys review/photo/video. It is drop dead gorgeous. The assembly was extremely EASY. The water began flowing instantly. Now, 1 lady was correct. It doesn’t need 6.5 gallons of water. We used 4.5 gallons & stored the additional gallons. The water is flowing down the mirror beautifully without mirror prep. My fiancé asked for a water fountain. He thought he was getting a small table top fountain. He was beyond ecstatic & pleased to see this 6ft. mirror fountain. 2 for 1. I’d highly recommend that you try it for yourself & if you don’t like it. Return it. At this point, I cannot fully review the fountain itself in action because I have not quite reached this point. However, I can say that (before getting it operational) it is beautiful and everything we might have expected. What I can do now is tell you about the amazing customer service I experienced when I had a problem with the pump. I recently assembled the fountain (no problems), and it looks great. But when I plugged in the pump, nothing happened. After working through the troubleshooting options, it was pretty clear to me that the pump was defective--not making any noise or vibration when connected to verified power. So I wrote to customer service and explained the issue. I asked that they please send a replacement pump. Here is the big thing: I sent that email to them late on a Saturday afternoon. Within about 2 hours (late on a Saturday), I got a response from Jamie Alforque in Customer Service saying that, of course, they would send me a replacement pump. No questions asked. Just the reply that they would certainly send a replacement immediately. They did send it right away by FedEx , and I have since received it. Although I have not yet installed the pump into the fountain because it was a gift and is located at another house and I have not yet had that opportunity, I did plug it in under water to make sure it is functional. And it certainly is working. I may update the review of the fountain itself later after we have it working. What I can say now is that Alpine's customer service, and that of Jamie Alforque in particular, is exceptional. And the fountain looks beautiful. I would definitely recommend that you can feel secure in ordering one of their fountains, assuming that it fits your decor and your application because if there is a problem, they will fix it. We ordered the Alpine Bronze Mirror Waterfall from Garden and Pond. By mistake, a Silver mirror was delivered. When we contacted G&P customer service, they responded right away and began the process for replacement. We received the correct unit and are very happy with the product and the customer service we received. The fountain is well made, it has a soothing sound, and is great for indoor use as it does not splash water outside of the fountain unit.     • This is a beautiful addition to my home decor……but

The media could not be loaded. What I liked about this waterfall is that it is absolutely beautiful in our space. It definitely adds to our modern clean line style. I’m glad I bought it…most of the time lol. The areas of growth would be that you have to add distilled water (cost) to it about every 2-3 days. Depending on your environment, warm, hot, cool, cold. For us it’s a averaging about every 2 days we have to add water, at least a gallon and a half or more. The next area of growth is that after about 3-4 weeks this film developed on the mirror. When you stop the waterfall it’s very noticeable and appears to be getting worse. I cannot get it off, I’ve tried many things and it won’t come off. The upside is you can’t see it when the waterfall is on. But it definitely takes away from the beauty of the mirror when the waterfall is off. If someone have suggestions please let me know asap! The last area of growth is that the part that holds the water and pump have to be cleaned out. I expected that but it’s kind of difficult to get all the water out of the bin, take the pump apart, clean it and the bin and then you have to refill with distilled (cost) water, about 5 gallons! These are the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. But I want to reiterate that we love it. We love the water sound, the look of it and how it adds to our vibe. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I didn’t know how I was going to get the 7 foot tall , 40 pound box that Amazon delivery drivers left for me up my stairs to where I needed this fountain to be, but I was so excited to receive it that I needed to find a way. Step-by-step I methodically walked it up the stairs one by one over the course of about 15 minutes. But I got it there. Then I started the unboxing. Should’ve done unboxing video. It was quite well packed and quite a fun discovery to see where and what everything was. I was worried about the mirror being shipped, and the potential for it to be broken, but it wasn’t. It was packed very well, as all the other parts, I read the assembly instructions and starting the assembly all in all, probably took me 30 minutes by myself. it’s large and a little unwieldy and a little heavy so it might be easier for two people or a stronger person, but I worked it out I was excited to get it and I’m more excited that its set up and running. Take a look at the video and you can see why. Oh, I added the black rocks for more visual appeal on top of the beige rocks that came with the fountain. I also think plants surrounding it either way to go. I just placed up a couple that I had sitting around. ... show more
