After reading other reviews, I decided to get the cordless version since people were saying the corded one doesn’t have an on/off switch. You can plug an adapter into the cordless one which solves the problem with turning it on/off since there’s a switch. You also don’t have to waste batteries! Product is super easy to put together. I just had to put the rocks where I wanted them and filled the reservoir with water. It lasted several nights before I had to refill the reservoir. The pump does make some noise but it’s not louder than the water sounds imo so it doesn’t bother me. Edit: I initially rated this product five stars but after a couple uses, the lights work but the pump does not. It’s now essentially an expensive night light. Would not recommend. Edit 2: rating this 3 stars instead of 1 after getting another one. I’ve had the replacement for several months and it still works BUT I don’t use it often and don’t run it for a long time. I also keep it unplugged when not in use. I would love to use it more since that’s why I bought it lol but will settle with using it every so often if that means it will continue working. ... show more

I love the colored lights and that this can be battery operated, but it runs through batteries really fast. So I started to plug it in, but when plugged in, it makes a bit of noise - probably not enough to bother most people but I have it in an energy healing room where it needs to be quiet and soothing, so I am especially aware of humming type noises. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got this today and set it up and I just had to write a review before I go to bed. This is perfect. I choose to go with the battery and adapter one next to bed use batteries less emfs and when the run out just Plug it in around the house. I bought this to drown out my tinnitus (ear ringing) it’s tranquil and helps. It’s very zen I also will love it during meditation and practicing yoga. Many reviews say it didn’t work for long I assume they used tap water loaded With minerals which will corrode it. I used purified water and I plan to buy some Distilled water. I think it last much longer using the proper water. So if you buy this check and see if Amazon has distilled water and grab that as well. No regrets so cute ... show more

I bought the cordless and have had it a couple days now. It actually still came with a wall plug which is great because the batteries died in less than a day:/. I have it on a shelf in my bathroom so it's not the best about the batteries. The changing light color and trickling sound is nice. So as I'm writing this review, I unplug it and try to turn on the batteries. The light came on, but no water flowing, mind you it was just working plugged in. I might opt for a different fountain if I return this one. ... show more

Pros: This fountain LOOKS great, the design is nice and the accents that stones provide are equally nice. Assembly is very easy and the motor's noise levels are quite low for ambient volume. The light is quite subtle. Cons: Despite the fountain's appearance, the quality doesn't feel very high and there are not enough stones provided to cover the base. That being said that not the worst part about this fountain. If you want a water fountain that does not produce the sound of water trickling, this is the fountain for you! It is very, very faint. A mere 08 dBs on the sound scale, barely louder than the hum of silent speakers waiting for audio input. If you are looking for a silent accent to a shrine or for a piece of "art" for a mantle, this is a decent purchase for the price. Otherwise, I would pass. ... show more
